as a computer scientist (AI/robotics) + web developer experience: why the heck do I need to base my apps on distributed consensus driven, highly inefficient blockchains? yes there might be special use cases (low trust in peers) but for a regular company it often doesnt make any sense: 1) data is gold, nobody wants (and is allowed to) to share it 'just like that' on some public network 2) centralized servers are much much faster. You cant beat that in terms of speed. Adding networks and more algos and mechanisms just slows it down. The web dev industry did not optimize browsers, frontend frameworks and server software for speed (and still does) just then to randomly and totally unnecessarily put everything on a slower intermediary network for no reason. Absolute hyperbolic garbage argumentation The use of his words makes it clear that he only superficially knows what hes talking about. 'web3' is not running 'in parallel' with the internet. its running ON the internet. You mean '< web3' Please be precise to be taken serious. And why the hell is 'AI running on the blockchain'? What is this supposed to mean? that AI models access the blockchain, that AI is implemented based on tokens (makes no sense at all).
