Really nice car. Diesels are very long lasting. I've a 1995 w124 E 300 diesel. Love it.
Incredible and rare car! mine is a 93 220E with the exact same interior, automatic but with heated seats and power windows. It's not a fast car with twice the hp, i can't imagine how slow is the OM601 with the auto! 😄

Only thing I never liked was the difference in the mirrors , but besides that its probably the best car ever built ! And they are like wine .........the older the model gets , the better it looks ! I just love that canted boot when you drive behind one , its a stile icon that makes it instandly recognisable , and the way the body lays over the wheels give me the impression that it floads rather the rols . A true CLASSIC !
Built in the time when Mercedes had a model range of 4 types and they built them all perfectly. Different from today .

I still have a 124 of 1986 operating greatly in excellent performance. Only the genuine spare parts is the problem

Bonjour , belle w124 . J'ai une 300d de 1990 anthracite avec 380000 kms , je l'entretien et je la bichonne , elle tourne comme une horloge . Je l'adore et ne la changerai jamais pour autre chose . Je terminerai ma vie avec , car je ne connais pas mieux . Prenez en soins , essayez quand même de nettoyer le moteur car il est sale , et vidangez tout vos fluides . Au revoir .

What a great car, incredible condition! You don't see a 200D with only 107 000 Km everyday! I drive a 1991 300D with almost 380 000 Km, and what a fantastic car it is for that mileage and age!

@@WanderDune I used to have a 1998 W210 E280, but they rot like hell and use way too much fuel. Would love a diesel W124. Or even a W123.
