I heard that! Omg ❤️ if Bach and Vivaldi merged it would be MOZART!
wonderful playing!
I love Jennifer Rivera’s voice
V’imru amein…
18:15 it is always a good moment for some Rossini <3
How fantastic it is! Can I share this by reposting your channel on a nice platform named Gan Jing World? For sure that I will not change anything. If you are fine with that, please let me know. Thank you
Schöne Interpretation. Nebenbei bemerkt, der Cellist wird von einem ganz seltenen Exemplar von Pianist, der den Kopf um 90° nach rechts wenden kann, begleitet.
Wonderful! And really appreciated the high video quality.
I bought the CD with Yoyo-Ma playing the cello~~:) R.I.P Claude Bolling~
What a shame, when did he die?
Totally Beautiful !!!!!!!!!!
Aside form being a voracious reader, Bill Gates also play cello.
Bravo!!!
Yehuda is an old friend and it was wonderful to see and hear him again.
Didn't know that jazz cello was a thing, glad i do now
@Brad Watson jazz ≠ improvisation , you’re wrong
Beginning @04:20 such an amazing composition and performance, am in awe. First time knowingly hearing a Bolling suite or maybe second time........wow!.......need a second to.......collect me thoughts......!
Chess_master lead me here
Same. CM take it a little faster, which I prefer.
Nice piece. 🙂
Though I like all of Bolling’s Suites for a classical instrument and jazz piano trio, the one I like best is his video at Versailles with the first suite for flute as featured instrument, Bolling playing himself and Jean-Pierre Rampal on the flute; those pictures are suiting well to the music.
I want a sheet
here I am turning pages for Michelle!!! what a surprise - Yehuda is coming back to Miami in 2018...
Since late-70s Bolling was as innovative as surprising, showing how classics and smooth jazz can mix without loosing their identity with unique results. Going back, I recall always Prokofiev´s 1st Symphony op. 25, "Classic", also showing as modern composers are able to go back in time and composition style. Just a final note - I can not prevent from compairing some of Bolling´s pieces to musical Impressionism. Data venia, It is.
We watched and discussed this video on the Sigourney Weaver Appreciation Group's Facebook page. Amazing! I especially loved how you transitioned from playing pizzicato to arco.
un repertorio che si attaglia perfettamente alla voce di questa splendida cantante, conosciuta nella prestazione formidabile della pergolesiana OLIMPIADE
jennifer riesce benissimo a rendere la suggestione della musica del grande Giovan Battista
In addition to donating his millions, Bill Gates also plays bass cello with his favorite bunch of musician friends.
you made me laugh for the first time today, thank you
You completely had me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Funny man!
Seems to be some confusion at 223 and 231. Other than that, great job!
What's the name of the song that starts at 4:30? :)
Ballade, Also belongs to the suite for cello and piano jazz trio
Thanks! :)
He has always been a musician I admire...his musicality seems so effortless and genuine and yet he is also quite the scholar and thinker...his gifts are not accidental! ;)
oh my god this was great
He kinda looks like Bill Gates..
Yay! Love Yehuda!! So glad there are more videos of him playing so people can enjoy his brilliance!! Buy his CD's!!
Ugh she's soo gorgeous!!! Rock that red dress Sigourney!!!
Fantastic!
