It's common for PATW to have variations and still be presented as PATW. The COPD and lack of back pressure affects your sound greatly. Maybe a little exercise to open your lungs up a little. Maybe the oboe isn't for you... a string instrument Maybe? Those fingers are a little thick you may hit multiple strings... trombone? But that would require perfect pitch which you don't have soooooooo.... triangle? Your rhythm seems a little off... oh well the world needs ditch diggers too.

I am a fourth year cello student. My first instructor taught the staccato much like this video. I started with a new instructor this year and he insists the bow must slightly leave the string so "the string can vibrate" for each staccato note. Difficult to do if you have a series of staccato notes. Which method is correct?
