This is a retake of the same laptop booting up in an old 2020 video of mine ( th-cam.com/video/2N-X43HPurU/w-d-xo.html ), but in much better quality than the 2020 video, also with the following changes:
I restored it with it's original factory installation of windows vista home basic service pack 1, but later upgraded it to sp2 for obvious reasons. There is also no battery installed anymore, as I removed and recycled it after the filming of the 2020 video due to it being completely dead and would no longer hold any charge whatsoever. I could purchase a new reproduction battery for it if I wanted, but I'm not going to bother with that.
While the boot-up is relatively quick for the time, actually using it for anything is pretty slow and painful, primarily due to the low amount of RAM and the old slow HDD, with the CPU/GPU being a slightly-less but still obvious limiting factor.
