After walking from point-to-point with my 15kg of fabric baggage, achieving close to 2000km through 3 countries, 23 cities, 600 over tailor shops and factories over 2 years, I embark on an entrepreneurship journey of “Saving Master Tailor”. These tailors are the last remaining fashion frontier yet to adopt cost-effective technology to sell online. Across China, there are currently more than 50,000 tailor shops and thousands of micro-to-large suit factories. In Singapore, there are 200 over tailor shops and a dozen of micro- suits factories still surviving.
GenTM ecosystem to link up from the supply chain to tailor shops, where they use our platform to sell their made-on-demand (MOQ 1) suits to their customer worldwide. Furthermore, these tailor shops can achieve economies of scales together through our high-quality supply chain with lower prices of manufacturing and fabric.
I am the founder of this business model, GenTM and i believe in my passion and purpose.

70yo Thomas Fong is a third generation tailor in his family and after working 50 years in tailoring still aspired to run his own brand at Singapore Chinatown ‘s People’s Park Center #02-52 . As of his age , he operates four days per week only. You could spot him normally from Friday to Monday. Today with me, he shares his story in Chinese.

Mr. Yik, has catered a wide range of customers including tourists and corporate professionals. He mastered the nuances of measurement and embroidery working in several of Singapore’s biggest tailoring names, and today he leads his own shop.
