7 23 2024 dive with Robert
Tuesday Night under the Pier on St Croix. Robert and I had another pretty good night dive. There were both snorkelers and divers out tonight, but we managed to stay ahead of them. We even found something new, a serrated lobster shrimp. Robert had the best find of the night with the sea horse, it’s been a month or so since we’ve found one.

Friday night under the Pier on St Croix. Another good night of diving for Robert and I, not so much for Adolph, he had some equipment issues and had to abort the dive. Had some issues with my camera as well but managed to get it resolved. Lots of other divers out tonight, we did manage to stay out of their way pretty much. Enjoy the Dive.

Wednesday Night under the Pier on St Croix. Robert and I had another great dive this night. Several other divers both getting ready and in the water. We kicked out to the first cutout before dropping and didn’t see any other divers for the rest of the night. Viz was not that great. Lots of critters though, could use a little help in identifying a couple. Let me know what you think. Enjoy the dive.

Monday Night under the Pier on St Croix. Robert and I had another pretty good night, lots of critters and only one other group of divers. I haven’t seen a juvenile trunkfish in awhile, but we found one tonight, kind of looks like the fuzzy dice I used to have on my Boss Mustang’s rearview mirror. Only a 110-minute dive tonight, we must be slipping. It’s hell getting old. Enjoy the dive.

Monday Night under the Pier on St Croix. Robert and I had another pretty good night under the pier which is why I had a bunch of footage on the cutting room floor. Another Wednesday Night dive under the Pier on St Croix. Robert and I lucked out, the Juneteenth celebration in Frederiksted didn’t prevent us from diving the Pier. There were about 20 other divers out there as well. We kicked out a ways but still ran into a few of them on the dive. It wasn’t a great night but hey we were diving so it wasn’t a bad night. Monday Night under the Pier on St Croix. Robert and I had another pretty good dive at the pier tonight. Viz was not that great but the critters were plenty. Friday night under the Pier on St Croix. Robert and I had another pretty good night, viz was not the best but I finally got my new Video Rig dialed in. What do you think of the resolution? We saw another diver getting ready, but we kicked out to the half pipe before dropping and only saw his lights. Lots of critters got inked three times. I think the Squid was camera shy. too bad scuba divers will never get rid of lionfish
We may not ever get rid of the problem but divers here on St Croix are making an impact. When I first started up my weekly lionfish hunts, five years ago, it would not be unusual for us to take 50 to 60 lionfish on a hunt. Today we returned with 8, it's a problem that won't go away by itself, every little bit helps...

Thank you for taking the time to make this. I have now started recommending this video to my dressage and western dressage students.
