@alexandersfirealarms When you made the video talking about the drama including him getting doxxed, little did we all know, that was only the beginning. It's so much worse now. All over r/firealarmenthusiasts I have memes about my big forehead of all things. People are making fun of me for not liking Simplex when their stuff breaks all the time.

@alexandersfirealarms The guy bullying me literally was complaining about a permanent trouble on his Simplex 4100ES, and all I said was "If you want to replace the panel, I recommend getting Fire-Lite" Nothing wrong with that, Why bully me (I got a MS-5UD)

I'm trying to figure out if I can join the Railfanning & Outdoor warning siren community in the time being. Trains are another interest of mine so that's a possibility. I just won't have uploads as long as I don't have fire alarms. Now I know how Jimmy 06 must have felt when he lost his entire channel full of hard work. I feel bad for him (He is the person who brought me to the fire alarm community)

What happened to your Advance and True Alert?

My TrueAlert (modified) is installed in my grandparents house with a Simplex Smartsync module and Kidde smoke alarm relay because they have hearing loss and needed something with a strobe. If I ever go there I'll post pictures of it mounted the ceiling right next to their Kidde KN-COSM-IBA.

@SirensVacuums I have two advances, an HW horn and a P2R horn/strobe. The p2r has a smashed cover so I have to fix that or maybe I'll eventually replace it with a P2RL.

idk but its not good. Luckily I still have the Gentex GX93 but that alarm is actually part of the house so its different.

Yeah. Thankfully my parents didn't break any of my devices this time. But my Wheelock 34Ts, System Sensor HW, Kidde 1276 and Fyrnetics 0914 are in a storage box somewhere. I'm sorry my channel is ending like this. I'm gonna make one more video saying goodbye for now, but this sucks.

In case you're wondering, the model of this detector is EST i4718A. A version of the i4618 made for apartments/dorms and can be tied in with Edwards fire alarm control panels.

@@saltyassassin I checked everything including power supply. It probably is a blown capacitor. It happened after I was doing some loud music through it

If you go to my channel, you can see a video I uploaded where this noise is louder than my fire alarm.

In kitchens, fast flaming fires are *very* common, especially grease fires, which is why my local FD and I actually recommend ionization alarms in kitchens. False alarms are good because at least you know it works. I would be concerned if it didn't go off. I'm sure you saw the grease at the end. There is a photoelectric (battery only) one down the hall.

​@NewEnglandAviaton987Step 1: Cut off the Kidde or First Alert harness. Step 2: Strip only the red and white (interconnect and neutral) Step 3: Connect the RED (interconnect) wire to the mini horn's positive terminal Step 4: connect the WHITE (neutral) wire to the mini horn's negative terminal.

I wouldn't do this because now you have one less smoke alarm.

@@joeycaridi3030 I know, the modulation of this thing is 60Hz because the capacitor inside is busted. You can hear the 60Hz modulation if you turn the volume up.

@@joeycaridi3030 these smoke alarms have a capacitor inside the horn circuit so that they sound a clean 3Khz frequency, but this one is fried, so it sounds like a Spectralert except that the modulation you hear is 60Hz not 80Hz.

@Alwaysdoinit112 FG200s aren't that bad. Try looking at an i1040. On mine its sensitivity is now 0.

@Alwaysdoinit112 I mean, I get that, especially considering Kidde and EST are related some way. You know what else is true though, System Sensor was originally founded by BRK, the company that First Alert is a subsidiary of.

Shoutout to Jimmy 06. He is the person who got me into fire alarms, but sadly people have been bullying him for the stupidest reasons.

Yeah I made these videos because they weren't out there.

That would be correct, but the horn has since crapped out, which means that when I finally do system test 10, I won't be having it wired up as I originally planned.
