nice but it looks so flimsy like a toy pool, all that work to only crack once someone bounces on it consistently

Seen concrete pushed into pull, release powder in pool, no gravel or rebar used. This company really needs to do better. That’s a lot of money. Sure it looks good but the lack of proper install will show in couple years

What I love the most about digging pools is it always starts with the first scoop of dirt taken out

Can I ask what this cost from pool to the landscaping? I have an above ground pool, but have thought about going the fiberglass route.

Looks great, but why no rebar or ground compaction for the concrete? 🤔

Did you do the ground bonding I don’t see any of that I know it could be cause it’s plastic but I would like to know if you did the electrical ground bonding

That’s interesting how a fiberglass pool is installed. We never had a fiberglass pool but did have three gunite pools installed. Pools are nice but our kids are grown so my wife and I are done with all that extra work of maintaining a pool. Now, we just go over to ourchildren’s home and use theirs and let them maintain theirs.. 👍👍

I was just quoted $139K for a similar sized install with WAY less concrete and no hot tub. Also just non-stamped. Will be installed next July.

always need to backfill with clean stone within 12-18" of the fill line as it is being filled, and flex pvc is a big no no. No concrete bond beam around the top,. Sheesh

I didn’t see them clean the debris dirt out of the pool before filling it. I can see the dirt through the water on the bottom. Bad news.

Gotta say, with labor/supply and building issues here in FL, it is unusual to have a fiberglass pool but I've noted a few people doing them now due to the time issues of regular pool builds. Usually they are all shot concrete due to the custom/complexity of them and design needs. But if a regular stock shape fiberglass company is good enough and works for you, it takes way less time. A family down the street put a fiberglass pool in and it took like 6 months if I recall from the time they broke ground to completion. Most of that time was the screen enclosure, inspection, pavers and re-sod of the yard. The actual pool install was less than one week after the hole to plumbing it in. Compare that to the 18 months they are usually running now on lead/build time in FL currently. I've been watching a neighbor across the street on a seemingly endless pool build that barely moves month to month. We looked at doing a pool 2yrs ago, but it is just ridiculous having your yard for 18 months now from start/finish torn up and lawn destroyed looking like a mess with no end in sight, and the money spent with nothing to show for it for ages. Most new home builders aren't even offering pools anymore because they can't control/promise any reasonable timing of pool/home completion with the pool builders and state of the business around here. Interesting for sure if it meets your needs an good alternative. Especially now since you have options of spa overflow and sun shelves, which usually were custom options you could only do with concrete/custom shot pools. Good alternative and likely way less expensive.

You brought in the excavator. Parked it. And then put down the guidelines. Oh, and the excavator wasn't fueled before the work started. How many people are there? Ten? If I were your customer I would be angry.
