As a silent viewer and subscriber I am very excited for more future GT-R content, because (although the hype) the Skylines are definitely my favorite cars of all time! You've also mentioned that you aren't really happy with the current quality of your phone camera in certain situations, so let me give you a few tips as a videography student. 1. It's not about the product it's about the user. What I mean by that, is that you could have the best gear, but if you don't know how to use said gear you can't use it to it's fullest potential to get the best results. So that means if you want to get better at using camera gear or even your phone camera at that. At some point you have to learn the basics on how to make use of all the settings in order to get the best results from all of your camera gear and even your phone camera. In fact I've done plenty of portfolio work with my phone before. And to compare my works to some of my classmates who all have ''professional camera's'' of their own. I was actually holding up quite well with my phone! The only thing that I really did was apply all the things that I've learnt from school to a phone instead of a camera, which ties perfectly onto my second point. 2. You don't need the newest or the best gear to make the best shots. So if you can save money, absolutely safe yourself the money! I recently bought myself a second hand camera that was released over 5 years ago and it's still perfectly fine. My camera still holds up with today's newer models of camera's. You can even say that I saved myself a lot of money by buying a second hand flagship with better specs, instead of buying a newer model with lesser specs. 3. As for your videos (especially this one), You already make amazing shots and the editing is very nice! And the story telling of your videos have depth and purpose to it, which makes the videos compelling and interesting to watch. I also love the way how you went about the POV setup in the R32, by using what you have! So imagine the quality if you do decide to learn a few things here and there and even get a camera of your own at some point. 4. Video making should be creative and fun! So if you can't figure out certain things when doing camera work and video editing, don't overcomplicate yourself, just because you can't get a shot right or a video effect right the first time. Take your time and with enough hands on experience you can get those shots or effects that you are looking for eventually. 5. Lastly! Want to learn how to become a better videographer? No need to go to school for that! Because most of the things that I learn in school, can be found on the internet especially on TH-cam already as well. That's the convenience of the modern era!
