I was trying to get the problem fixed and i was using my phone so i couldnt find a place to set up phone and record all at the same time. They are literally just push to connect fittings.

I found a clip from the news in 1995 I'm gonna upload it as a short for you. The original video is 1:48 seconds but the short will be 60 seconds. Hope this helps. The adapter that has the black lever is much easier to use. It looks like the end of the bicycle air pump. This other video at 10:45 shows how to properly put it on the stem to use it. It is also a lot faster to use th-cam.com/video/CYsHl7c0w5k/w-d-xo.html

I agree, the more that u use it the more I realize that it's definitely not the mower I had in mind. But for the price so far very little problems for me. I don't use the mower bag on my lawn. Thank you for the comment and feedback. This is exactly what I want for my channel.

I agree, that would be even better if it did! It's still much better than on the ground though in my opinion plus you can get creative with it if you needed or wanted to.

I mean your not wrong but at the same time maybe some people can't afford a more expensive lawn mower or don't want to pay more than a set amount. I also think it depends on how often you'll be using it. There is definitely some pros and cons to this mower

4 cycle oil is what you would wanna use in most gas powered engines such as a lawn mower. 10w30 is a very common grade of oil. Another words the engine uses the oil and oil only to lubricate the moving parts, as where 2 stroke engines are mixed with a certain oil and gas together.

Yes mine did start right out of the box. Though it did have a problem with the self propelled which turned out to be the belt had just came off during shipping. As of right now I think it's got a loose cable for the throttle cause it sees the motor cuts on and off a little when the throttle cable is moved. It dosnt happen often bur I will be checking this problem out and fixing it. Other than that so far no other problems I've been able to cut my lawn consistently so far without issues with it. I'd say it's ehhhh ok. I bought it and own it for basically $300 but I will not be buying another one of this kind in the future.

The battery was no recoverable. Off camera it was charged and it would not hold a charge.

@@ATrainETV I meant can you charge it in place still connected? Or do you have to remove it and unscrew the red and black wires prior to?

Yeah most definitely, you can go with what the owners manual calls for. I've got lots and lots of comments from this video, lot of criticism because of my oil choice. I'm a highly trained professional so it's alright. But I'd stick to the owner manual.

It's held up perfectly fine for me, I've mowed my lawn front and back several times with it with no problems at all. It has plenty of power to cut the grass. Tbh yeah it's obviously not the best as far as name brand but its done great for me with no issues as of right now

Wait till the self tapping screws start to tear out. Self propel stopped working after 12 cuts. B&S engine is great.. the cut was good also. Mower was given to me. I would not buy one

remove the drive and convert it to manuel.

First time out, mower did a superb job. 2nd time after a couple of minutes, it died and that is why I came on TH-cam. It died and won't start Any advice? Called 800# buy no help.

@jackswink759 check both cables. The drive and the one for the engine. If they are loose you may need to see if you can adjust them.. also on the left side of mower handle there's a black plastic piece that hold cables if pulls away from the handle the mower will die and or turn off while in use. Mine did this and I used electrical tape to keep it in place.

I'd stick with what the original battery says. I actually took my battery to an auto zone and they were able to match it for me.

I didn't think about it that way, I'm just so use to the deck always being metal. Now that you mention it, it might be better plastic. Its definitely held up good so far. Thanks for the info and your comment!

@ATrainETV No problem, it's definitely worth having as gas mowers are starting to disappear from the market. Your mower will last a lot longer as well. Also, you got an incredible deal as honda uses the exact same deck, but they cost close to $1000 for it.

It's just for draining the oil, however it does have a suction to it when the motor is running so if you broke the plastic part off you'll either A: need to buy a new housing seeing how it's made, or B: you could make you own plug for the tube, and keep the tube in the same upward position, just as long as it fits in snug, you don't wan any oil loss. Hope this helps

No, not that I can recall. I cant remember tbh with you. I replaced the coil packs due to the mileage on the vehicle. They had never been replaced before and it was time according to mileage. Like a tune up

@@ATrainETV My ‘06 is having intermittent rough idle with CEL flashing, which inconveniently went away right before I took it to the three shops it’s been to for Dx and repair. (None of the three shops were able to pull a code off the history.) Finally, I bought my own code reader so I could catch the car “in the act” and it’s throwing code P0303. Guessing this is a failed ignition coil as a few years ago Cyl. 1 needed a new coil and it was the same symptoms. Would love to install it myself as you do here but it seems too daunting. Hoping a mechanic putting a new coil on Cyl. 3 will remedy the issue. 🤞 (All four spark plugs were changed last month.) Thanks for your response, and sorry for this long one. 🤓

I was gonna say once it's in the computer even if the check engine light disappears you should still be able to pull the code with a reader. The cars computer normally stores it regardless. There's been a few jobs on cars that seemed too much for as well so I completely understand and I'm no professional. I hope you get it figured out and it dosnt cost too too much. @@ATrainETV A mechanic put the new ignition coil on Cyl 3 on Wednesday and that seems have to have fixed it (knock on wood ✊). Three different shops put multiple code readers on it and none were able to pick up a code once the SES light was off. Even the code reader I bought said “no trouble codes” when the SES was off. But what a good idea the person had who suggested I buy one of these Bluetooth code readers - will def be hanging on to that thing! And thanks to your video and others like it I knew my ignition coils were right there on top of the engine and changing them was NOT the one-hour chore one shop tried to quote me. After a few calls I was able to find a mechanic who charged a fair amount to install one coil. Thanks! 😊
