HPS Peaks: Ryan & Lost Horse - 22Feb23 4K
Wednesday, February 12, 2023, HPS Peaks: Ryan Mountain (5,457'), Lost Horse Mountain (5,313').
We were in Joshua Tree National Park for the day to hike these two beautiful peaks. We hiked 3.0 miles round trip on Pathfinder route with a gain of 1,100 feet to Ryan Mountain. We then hiked a Pathfinder cross-country route, 5 miles round trip with a gain of 900 feet to Lost Horse Mountain. Total for the day was 8 miles with 2,322 feet of gain. These were two separate hikes.
