how i CAN create ringworm in blender
cool!
Thank you!!
that works perfectly, could u please tell , how to bring this to sequencer ? i tried animating the speed parameter, but the values are extremely small , one light streak happens between 0.000025 to 0.00005 lets say, and if i click render it doesnt work, and if i restart engine , the sequence doesnt work at all, but the panner works in the viewport, i would really appreciate if there is a fix for this
Thanks! Was very easy with this tutorial
You're welcome! Thank you for commenting :)
Great Tutorial and exactly what i was looking for. Thank you!
You're welcome! :)
good guys thanks guy!
what a shitty tutorial.....dude forgot to mention the half he done....what a fool...
thanks
Tip: If you are using subsurface profile in Unreal, you have to specify a subsurface profile asset in the shader, or it doesn't do anything
Any way i can control the back scatter based on thickness of geometry with ray-trace in UE5? Whole object bright up for me right now
You could use masks that go into the opacity channel to replicate this effect. It can be some work to do that for many models. I don't know if you could do that node based in UE5 and I haven't worked with ray tracing in UE yet.
I cant find any free spline meshes for ue 4.0.2
What do you exactly mean? Like the model for the road? I put a link to my model in the description :)
is it possible to make it rise?
Yeah maybe with displacement in the node editor or you have to animate the meshes :)
Wow, this is the gold video everyone is looking for.
very good stuff
Thank you so much!!
nice ! cheers from Rio
Thank you! :)
Still works exactly the same in UE 5.4, thanks a ton! Very concise and informative :)
Good to know! Thank you for leaving the comment :)
this was rly helpful
Nice to hear! Thank you for commenting :)
Buenos días, uso la version 5.3 y parece que no esta el nodo ObjetcLocalBounds. Gracias !
will this also work with semi - realistic assets? ones that use painted texture maps
Yes, it will work too :)
I'm about to try this with castle and village environment assets. Goal is to create one big seamless world
Sounds like a cool project! Hope it turns out nice :)
Thanks, this was very helpful, my guy. 🍻
You're welcome!! :)
¨hi, i have problem with export. It make 4 models from one and so much textures. I dont know what happen bcs i need one model and 6 textures
how do i get the "text tools" in my blender i cant see it unu
Hello, you can download it from the internet :)
@@UnrealMatter thx!! I love all the video, it gona Help me a lot uwu! <3
@@retnuhcool3596 I'm happy to hear that! :)
Many artists are good at what they do. Far fewer are as similarly adept when it comes time to explain it. You, sir, stand out in both categories -
Thank you a lot! I really appreciate it :)
Thanks a lot, now my floor is lava
😁😁Thanks for commenting!
@@UnrealMatter this works fantastically, BTW very nice video, love from INDIA.
Hello, do you have any idea how to replicate the BP_Capture?
Wow, it's work! Thank for awesome guide!!!
You're welcome!! :)
Any way to actually render the game in smaller resolution without a post process filter to save up on perfomance?
I suppose you can do it by going to Editor Preferences -> Play. And from there changing the window size
@@UnrealMatter Hmm, maybe I should've explained it a bit better, for example Lethal Company renders at way lower resolution then stretches it onto whatever resolution player sets, therefore effect is pretty much the same but it saves performance as well instead of it being just a post process filter.
@@darkestdaysvideogame Yeah, I've understood what you've said but I never done that so yeah, maybe it is the wrong way. After a bit of searching the internet I found a forum article that is about this topic. Maybe you will find your answer there: forums.unrealengine.com/t/how-to-set-resolution-of-packaged-game/18950/15
@@UnrealMatter The final answer might be what I'm looking for, I'll sub as thanks.
Thank you very much
You're welcome :)
I`m a long time Blender user wanting to learn Mixer and and Unreal, and I have no idea what`s going on here😁 Guess I need some more basics to understand why you did that thing in Blender and how it interconnected with your model
Hello, what I did in Blender was just a showcase that you need to have materials applied on your 3d model so you can texture the different parts later in mixer. I used the canister in mixer because the cube was too simple. Once you get into it, it gets really easy! :)
@@UnrealMatter ah, now it all makes sense, thanks!
@@insertanynameyouwant5311 you're welcome :)
Maybe you should use "Add shader" Node
Hello, I'm using the Mix Shader Node in this example. What did you think of doing with the Add Shader? Where would you add it?
dude thats not how it works
Hey, thank you for commenting. This is just a cheap methode when it comes to saving resources. The main method used is RVT :)
thanks for your help 😀😀😀
You're welcome! :)
Just what I was looking for, thank you!
You're welcome :)
Can I make an interior with this Addon? or is the interior filled with a cube?
The interior is filled, however you could do the outline of the house and model the interior yourself :)
@@UnrealMatter Alright I see, thanks
@@SbxaAMV You're welcome
very helpful lesson you make my day
Thank you so much!! :)
awesome sir very easy way to teach
Thanks a lot. Thanks to you, it's successful. But can you help me with one more thing? The texture size is too big for the object. Can we reduce the size while maintaining this [MACRO VARIATION]?
Hey, thank you for commenting! You can change the scale of your texture by plugging a TextureCoordinate node into your UV input of the texture and then changing the x and y tiling :)
You are a master of Unreal Material! Thank you!
I want to make an infinite road that is constantly renewed, how can I do it?
I don't know if truly infinite generation is possible in Unreal Engine since you would have to generate the road procedurally. I suppose you would have to create your own engine or code to do that.
Maybe it is somehow possible with C++ but I haven't looked deeper into that
Simple, short and to the point. Thanks, young man! May you reach great heights in your endeavors!
Thank you for commenting! :)
great tutorial!
Thank you so much! :)
THANKS!
You're welcome :)
Very Nice
Thank you so much! :)
I'm terrible with materials and I simply subscribed because of how clear and fast this is. Thanks
You're welcome! :)
when i add the mesh it just adds 1 small part and doesnt extend liek yours does also i cant rotate it it jsut gives me straight roads pls help ;(
Did you follow the steps with the splines? Also did you change the scaling of the mesh?
How can i export this texture ?
You can bake the Ambient Occlusion as a diffuse. I made a tutorial on baking if you need some help :)
@@UnrealMatter yes brother, please make a tutorial about that, ami new in blender
@@prime-workshop-bd I already made one. You can find it on my channel! :)
@@UnrealMatter I can't find the video. It would be great if you could give the video link
@@prime-workshop-bd th-cam.com/video/ChxGAcKO92Y/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ipdmGlrK30qvwyxj
When I bake through textools, my UV Image has way more than 3 colors even though I chose 5 code. In viewport it looks fine but when I bring it up in quixel, there are like bright cyans, bits of pinks and lighter blues and darker blues. I dont understand what I am doing wrong!
Try both Material ID and Element ID. One of these two should work. But as far as I know, Mixer currently also works without materiald ID's.
Yes! I tried Material ID and it worked. Unfortunately the output still wasn't right with this video but I've used a different software with vector colors and it works!
@@lasagnaface1449 Okay, nice to hear! :)
@@UnrealMatter thank you for the help though!
Hi, what's the difference between doing this vs using RVT? does it have better performance?
Performance with this should be a bit better. Also RVT is complicated. But if you want to have the most realistic result I would spend the time and go with RVT :)
an alright tutorial but you might want to go to edit > Preferences > interface then crank up the resolution scale a wee bit, makes it easier to see whats going on for the viewer
Hey, thank you for the comment! I'm definitely keeping that in mind for upcoming tutorials :)
