In this video I will be explaining a very easy method to create realistic water droplets on metallic surfaces and other surfaces as well
The video is simple but i kept it a little detailed
Also for the mesh looking weird while adding the normal map it's because my mesh was a little broken 😅
Notice: the project is for Godot 4 but you can create same thing exactly following this tutorial for Godot 3 as well you can use the 64 by 64 rain drop image from this project.

Congrats 👏, I see you found the new Godot 4 features useful. I wonder how you decided to do it (Only for online implementations, and using it as a backend for Godot 3 {Like tou said} or completely moving the project to Godot 4 {like I suggested 2 weeks ago} )
since im now on Godot 4 i will be using the same engine for that instead of backend as for now im trying to create the world but having some trouble with Auto LOD
@@Sina_Qadri @Sina_Qadri Nice to see you made a full transition, it's a very good idea for ease of project expansion as it cuts out all deprecated code conventions and is easier moving forward. And as for Auto LOD, it's complicated at first but gets easier to implement over time. A good introduction via the Godot Docs and a few simple tutorials should do the trick. Would love to be a part of testing some kind of "Demo" or "Test Build" to check out some features implemented and some bugs to report if you ever need help with that along the line. Overall, lovin' the progress 👏

I like this, it has a pretty interesting style and it's something unique. Got a SUB from me, would love to see this project through to the end.... And also, are you still using Godot 3 or did you finally switch to Godot 4?, if you haven't yet switched I'd advise you to wait for Godot 4.3 Stable release. You'll find some of the bug fixes and features useful
@@Zane_2029 hey thanks for sub switching to Godot 4 requires rewriting lots and lots of code and shader
@@Sina_Qadri Yeah, and based on the amount of progress you've made so far it seems like it's a lot of code to have to redo and fix dependencies for especially if you're using plugins it's a step you'll probably take very much later on (or not even at all for this project) when you see something interesting enough to switch for (e.g, new shader types, better optimization, better import and export features). It won't be easy for sure but you'll eventually cross that bridge when you get there. It'll be interesting to see how you adapt 😁

I saw someone else just add a kick layer on one note that repeats like 16times per bar, and upped its tempo and the sound was basically identical. Your method definitely has more allowance for fine tuning, however.
