    Amazing seeing how it all starts as an ugly blob (or cube, in the case of modelling non-living things such as houses and building) and end up becoming such pieces of art!

    This is prob the best hair sculpting method and it works for 3d printing the mesh as well, the first mesh can be used as a filler then the detail small hairs on top will work for printing, cool that the first mesh has a crease to easily frame and create the detail hairs over it.

    • @AZORA_CP
      @AZORA_CP 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a function called "F History" under "Movie" panel, it'll record your brush strokes and create a video of your sculpt. You can also control how you want the camera to move in the video..

    How did you just click the edges to get a curve from your previous meshes with your hair brush?

    • @AZORA_CP
      @AZORA_CP 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. Crease the edge on which you want the curve brush to snap 2. Select a curve brush 3. Click on the creased edge, drag the mouse a little and then press the shift key on your keyboard. (It'll create a new curve on the creased edge) 4. simply click on the newly crated curve o that it can recalculate the density of the segments of the curve. ( This step is optional )

      If u watch carefully u can see that the edge on the base hair is already creased. so if I use any curve brush I can snap it on the creased edge by pressing Shift + Left-click and drag the mouse/stylus on the edge. Hope it helps.

I actually only wanted to come here to say that starface reminds me of taserface ;), but hell that was a great video! Very informative and I freakin love the hair :D It was amazing to see how the mesh deforms over time and how you begin sculpting certain areas. If you know your software you don't need no tools to be explained and watching how you built it up from the ground and went about it was very helpful!! Perfect end result as well :)
