@@brettknibbs9351 Bottom slot should be servo, second from bottom esc. The rest I'm unsure of if it isn't a fly sky or similar model. There are many fly sky copies out there so if it looks similar to the video it will be exactly the same. I would recommend looking at the manual or just researching for that specific receiver because it does vary between make and model.

They are adjustable high capacity shocks. The diameter is slightly greater than standard due to the bezel of the shock, but will fit standard shock tower.

No, I risked it. Thankfully, there are no issues. It was never submerged completely in water. Most modern electronics are splash-proof, so I'm sure it's fine. That being said when submerged completely they will blow like the one in my Grass Hopper. In the past, I have seen people covering electronics with plastic bags, but It can overheat.

@@moejr1974 The car in the video has only been driven a handful of times and was new when I got it. The new set of wheels and tyres I have preserved for display. Fortunately with the relatively low power and it being AWD, you don't really feel a difference. I didn't intend for this to be a fast straight line car, hence kept the stock motor but wanted it as a track car where straight line speed isn't so important.

I do have an original Frog that was very well painted box art, and not done by me. However I had neither patients nor skills for that when it came to the one I built.

All jokes aside it wasn't planned, I had aimed to install some LEDS in place of the standard lamps. Never got the opportunity. However, the other Tamiya frog in one of my later uploads does have lights, I promise it isn't a reoccurring issue.

These Shocks came built and already filled. Usually, I use the Tamiya oil that comes in the kits. Having tried different companies of oil, I don't have preferences, as long as the oil is the correct type for the car and shocks. For example, some cars need heavier damping than others and a more viscous oil should be used.

Generally not, I know in terms of speed, they are faster when warm. Racers notice significant differences in lap times, but I guess not noticeable enough when driving normally.

I agree, several years ago I drove my original Tamiya Boomerang with modern Tamiya wheels and tyres and it transformed the car, it was easily 80% as good as a modern day buggy. potentially the only down side being strength.
