Built the Bolt to something rad. Reliable as a stone axe. Wheelies. Driftys. Rain, hail, dirt, heat, cold. Rock solid. Gets rid of it for an unreliable Harley. Boy, something happened in your head.

I found that a 4-inch filter strap wrench works best on removing that oil filter but then I went with the K&N afterwards

Definitely don’t ride a Bolt like that unless you got your neck bearings upgraded.

I'm the first to throw Harley under the bus (the Iron 883 is one of the worst, over-prices cheapo bikes out there), but there is no way the Sportster 1200 lost to a Yamaha Bolt -- I don't care what the mods / tune. You either screwed up the throttle -- choking the engine with fuel, flubbed your start, or both. I'm calling shenanigans on this one. B.S.!!!

The extra baffle matting I added to the V&H slip on exhaust did the trick and took the edge off the noise level. Now I don't have this big LAWS rocket bolted to the side of my bike. Seems to have more pep as well but that may be psychological.👍

Turn signal bulbs are an 1157 for the front and 1156 for the back but apparently the pin socket design is Yamaha proprietary since I haven't been able to find any drop-in replacement LED bulbs anywhere.

I watched many of your Yamaha Bolt videos. Good skills. Did you ever get any of the ECUs flashed? Did you ever have a problem with your bikes if you did or did not with the aftermarket intakes and exhausts?

Have the V&H intake works good. Use a rain sock with it and replace every couple of months.

3 months out I bought a Saddlemans 2 up.

The bazooka! I just bought some ceramic muffler matting and will pack my aftermarket V&H slip on with it to quiet it down a bit. Nothing to lose, bought in 2020 and used it for a week and was too loud so it's been sitting in the box for 3-1/2 years. I paid $400 for it so I'm getting my money's worth. I just couldn't bring myself to try to sell it on eBay as it's bike specific.

I bought a V&H slip on several years ago, was too loud so I'm looking for ways to quiet it down a bit as I come home from work at 5 am. That bazooka stock muffler has to go. I've had the V&H in the box ever since. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I paid close to $400 for the aftermarket slip on.👍
