The leather jacket is one of those pieces that never goes out of style. Whether you’re dressing up for a night out or throwing something on for a casual day. A leather jacket can pull your entire look together. The best part? It works for just about anyone.
We did a detailed review of the leather jacket I’m wearing in this video. If you’re curious check out the review linked below. I go over everything from the fit to the details that make it stand out. So you can decide if it’s the right one for you.

In this video, we're breaking down how to style your leather jacket for any occasion. We'll walking you through four different looks. Each with its own vibe. So you can see how versatile this piece really is. If you’ve been wondering how to get more out of your leather jacket or you’re thinking about buying one, this guide is for you.
Here’s what we’ll cover:
Smart-Casual Dapper
A light blue oxford shirt, navy wool pleated trousers, and brown suede tassel loafers. Pairing tailoring with the ruggedness of leather gives you a polished vibe without feeling too formal. Perfect for date nights or casual Fridays at work.
Weekend Relaxation Dapper
Think white polo shirt, medium-wash jeans, and brown suede chukka boots. It’s laid-back, comfortable, and still looks put together. This is the outfit for those days when you’re running errands or meeting friends for brunch but still want to look like you put in some effort.
Versatile Modern Dapper
A light gray crew-neck sweater, tan chinos, and white leather sneakers. It’s clean, easy, and great for pretty much anything casual. Whether you’re grabbing coffee or heading to a casual gathering. This outfit shows you care about the details without being over the top.
Rugged Americana Dapper
You can’t go wrong with a classic white T-shirt, light blue jeans, and brown leather boots. It’s simple, timeless, and has that effortless cool factor. This is one of those looks that just works, no matter the season or setting.
A leather jacket isn’t just a piece of clothing. It’s a confidence booster. It’s a way to show the world that you care about how you present yourself. When you invest in a quality jacket, it becomes a part of your story. It ages with you, molds to you, and just gets better over time.

😊❤🎉💯.
What is your wrist size?
I measured 7 inches using my tailors measuring tape.
Great stream! I was only able to catch the end but I hope to see the full stream next time. I loved the picture you chose it looks really nice! I love blazers thank you for showing me one of yours it’s a much lighter one in color I really like that. 👌
Thanks! I’m really tempted to go ahead and feature that blazer in an upcoming video.
A leather jacket will always look good on anyone it is one of my favorite things to style because it adds a little bit of ruggedness into any combination you create. 👍
Exactly, because is so tough and durable it instantly gives it that vibe. Additionally we are wired to look at leather in this way because it is used by rough and rugged people to get the job done. Think cowboys, pilots, law enforcement, etc.
That’s very true as long as you are comfortable you can still look good like the dress shirt and pants for example you still look good but at least you’re comfortable. 👍
Good way to think about things but seems like most people would be hard pressed to find reliable data for most clothes. Definitely something worth thinking about but I think people should consider ball park numbers as estimates rather than living and dying by these calculations- and keeping in mind an expensive option won’t necessarily last the longest and you should look at objective indicators of quality (materials, fabric weight, type of stitching used) to guide this decision I like your content and the emphasis on grooming yourself mentally in addition to physically
That's a great point. I appreciate the feedback. For me it's about being the best version of myself and how that positively impacts every area of life. Especially the mental aspect.
@@TheDapperHouse Love that, feeling good will make you look your best. I think your excitement and sincerity about positivity and getting in the right head space comes through clearly in your content. Its a refreshing change from a lot of content that is mostly "XYZ will make you look good" and appreciate your approach as more of a lifestyle/self-identity channel. I hope you continue to lean into that aspect in your content- I find it more interesting, genuine, and positively impactful on those who would otherwise be mindlessly rotting their brain (like me)
@@TheDapperHouse Not trying to steer your ship or pretend I am an authority of good internet content- just wanted to give recognition your message is landing and I am excited to see the channel grow. also dropping notes to hopefully get more traffic your way. Cheers
Looking like the physical embodiment of Mormon raped culture
Where’s the Double Windsor?
That's a great knot no doubt. I went with the four-in-hand knot because it is a little more casual. Next video I'll go for the Windsor. Be on the lookout!
Ties are amazing they can be complex or simple I believe it can make an outfit look even better! 👔
It adds that visual interest that makes the outfit unique.
Common courtesy and good manners goes a long way.
We couldn't agree more. It's the little things people appreciate.
Its very true it might be a little expensive but these clothes will last you for a long time
Investing in quality pieces means they’ll stand the test of time, and save you money in the long run.
That’s what I try to do every day even if it’s saying please, thank you or hold a door open for someone a little bit of kindness can change a persons day 👍
And even if you forgot the "please" when asking (e.g. "May I have an extra napkin too?"), always respond/answer with "Thank you". That goes a really long way towards making everyone's day a little brighter.
A little kindness goes a really long way.
Great video
Good Stream! Thank you for responding back to me and telling me your story with fashion even though I’m 20 I have a love for men’s fashion and looking the best I can this also helps because I want to become a teacher.
When we were first starting out on this journey those were some of the best times. Learning and exploring what this hobby has in store makes you want to keep going. You deserve to be the best version of yourself, and hopefully we can help you along the way. Cheers
Love a good button down dress shirt 👌
Tan suits are awesome for the most casual look 👌
I love a good fedora I definitely prefer fur felt myself 👌
I just got a few turtlenecks myself and now I use it a lot for my winter wardrobe 👌
That’s a very nice jacket! I love a good leather jacket 👌
Love a good cardigan I prefer the thin so you can layer if you need to or leave it be a let the cardigan shine. 👍
Love it… great advice. I never thought about it… because I don’t want to think that about others, but I guess how I dress does say quite a bit about how I see myself. (There’s some awful dressers out there, and I don’t mean due to style preferences)
Absolutely, how we dress reflects how we see ourselves. It’s all about using style to express confidence and self-respect.
As a retired USAF aviator, I love my A2 jacket. However, buyer beware- over 20 years I’ve seen a broad range of quality on the issued jackets depending on the NSN Vendor. From quality of the leather and tanning process to construction, many are great, some are trash. I’ve seen some with an almost plastic/pleather quality to the leather and others with blown out stitching on the pockets. Mine was produced before the model change in the late 90s/early 2000s that added the hand warmer pockets. As a result, I had mine modified in Korea to add the hand warmer pockets. My jacket is much better quality than some produced later (mid 2000s).
Thank you for sharing your experience and insights as a retired USAF aviator. It truly means a lot to us. Hearing about the range of quality you’ve observed over the years with issued A-2 jackets is fascinating and highlights an important consideration for anyone investing in one of these iconic pieces. Your point about the variability in leather and construction is incredibly valuable, and I’m sure others will appreciate the heads up as much as we do. We’re genuinely grateful for your expertise and for being part of this discussion. Having someone with your background here adds so much depth to the conversation. Thank you again!
Never thought I'd be watching Adam Sandler ironing dress pants, but here I am.
That knot is way too narrow for that collar
You've got a half winsor knot on a buttoned collar. It looks like a goodwill find
But this doesn't look good
I love the content from this channel, keep up the good work!
Glad you enjoy it!
If you have a brown or dark skin brown, maybe not be the best choice, of course, There are always exceptions to the rules. Looking dapper 👌🏽
Bro, need to fix your jackets collar gap
Great review, thank you Sir.
Swag is for boys, Class is for men
Just get an ironing cloth and you can slide the iron as much as you like. This would take forever.
Great thanks ❤
All the issues at the start what you said is fixed by using a decent steam generator iron.. :)
So this wouldn't be appropriate for a wedding as the best man of the groom?
This video would be better if he showed the positions of how to lay the pants.
Some good recommendations. Thanks
Hello guys, can I use my Fifht avenue with chinos or jeans, is the color brown?
Chinos yes, Jeans if they are dark rinse. 5ths are a bit dressy for jeans however. McAllister or Strands are better choice. Best color is Dark Chili or Brown.
Mark Suckerberg
I cant afford nice things 😭
i want their popover shirts
You have a great comment that MTM shirts are not as good as bespoke. I am very hard to fit guy and MTM is pretty darn good, the there are some things you simply cant adjust with MTM process - such as tapered arms. However I have a good tailor and for $17 he can adjust a good fitted MTM shirt to near bespoke level. For the record, Proper Cloth has WAY more shirt/fabric choices than Spier Mackay. I do order high rise pants from Spier Mackay
2024 their price is 395 usd
How long does it take to break these in? Out of the box they are horribly uncomfortable. The right shoe is acceptable, however the left shoes is uncomfortable in the arch below my big toe.
12-16 all day wears.
This is defo cheeseburger video :D
That hat is absolutely cool, I want one! haha
I was a bit worried that this hat would look more like a straight up cowboy hat, I like how you got the Humphrey Bogart vibes from Casablanca cuz that's what I'm going for as well. Maybe this one or the Luke? Any other recommendations are they all look pretty good?
is there any special reason why the last button is left unbuttoned??????
With a suit or sport coat leaving the last button unbuttoned resembles the look of a more formal waist coat which has those angled ends. I think it looks sharp this way. By itself I can go either way.
Helpful video!
Glad to hear that!
That doesn’t look anything like the temple.
