ECE BME 7400 Group project "VR Fantastic Voyage"
• This project develops a system for surgeons for better diagnosis.
• This is done by using the present technologies like Virtual reality, Haptics and tools like Unity, Oculus,Arduino, sensors, and servos.
• We create a virtual environment of a patient body to the surgeon where the surgeon can navigate through each organ using the Oculus.
• Once he is inside the body, he needs to have a sense of touch to feel the organ and it is provided by the haptic feedback.
• In general, creating a system where the surgeon can navigate inside a patient body to diagnose the organ or disease by touching them.
