I used to travel for work to Seoul like twice a month and one of my best friends who I know from school in London is Korean. I've of course also watched "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring" by Kim Ki-Duk!

I was diving in June last year and is currently considering another trip there. I think any time during the diving season is good as the mantas and sharks are always around except that there's a chance to see humpback whales during February and March.

Thanks for the compliments. I used the Panasonic LX100 in a Nauticam housing and video lights. I used a 5-mm full suit with a 5/3mm hooded vest and they were adequate although I felt a little chilly near the end during some dives as I get cold easily. You'll enjoy the trip.

Unfortunately, I think the video is blocked in Germany because of the copyright of the music I used. Thanks for watching.

+Niels Lindquist Thanks for the compliments. The workshop was indeed on photography but I participated even though I'm just a video shooter as there are many techniques in underwater photography that are applicable to video and there are always new ideas for adaptation. The other reason is that there are very few video-dedicated workshops in Asia unlike in the U.S. and I'm not sure about the situation in Europe. Stephen and Takako are professional photographers and I've never seen them shoot video unlike some pros who do both. An important aspect to these workshops is that they are really very informal and I learned much more while hanging out with the instructors and participants over a drink than during the more formal presentations. Just to let you know so that you don't get disappointed if you're expecting a structured program or course.

+John Lye - I can always do with some inspiration. A course like this could be one way of getting that (and watching great video like yours). We are actually shooting with the same gear (GH4, Nauticam), only I use the 60mm olympus and the 8mm panasonic fisheye. Even though I have +200 gigs of footage om my hd I can't seem to find the time to get the editing done once I get back home. The stuff I've finished is done on site, before passing out in the evening. Thx again and keep the videos coming :). Ill return the favor and upload some of my rough edited, dead silent snaps.. /N
