That spacer you made to prevent the Transducer Cable from getting pinched when the Trolling Motor is Stowed, does it prevent the Actual Trolling motor barrel/body from sitting in or engaging in the Stowing Cradle, or there is a space already available that determined the width of the anti-pinch spacer that you made?
It didn't affect the stow-ability or anything. It stowed and deployed normally. There was already some space on mine so while I had it stowed, I pulled it all the way up and measured the gap and giving about a 1/4" allowance. I don't remember the exact gap I had to deal with, but for example, if I measured the gap to be 1" then I cut the spacer 3/4" long to allow some play otherwise there is a risk of it not stowing completely. Once you get your measurement and make the cut for the spacer I would test it before applying the silicone and electrical tape just to be sure it will properly stow and deploy for you. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.
@@AROoutdoors Thanks.
@DouglasStaines You're welcome!
@@AROoutdoors was there any particular Silicone/Adhesive that you used, not all are created the same.
@DouglasStaines I used a black marine grade silicone.
Couple fillets for the pan! Thats the glory of the paddletail, just about anything will bite! Also just curious whats the brand of that silver/blueback/chart tail? very nice looking swimmer. Thanks man
Heck yeah! Yes, it is actually a pretty good swimbait that I will have to utilize a lot more. It's actually getting harder to find because it's an older one, but it is the Storm 360GT Mangrove Minnow. The color is called Blue Moon Chartreuse Tail.
Looks like a cold windy day!! Thanks for bringing us along!!
@All_is_Outdoors It was! Next time I go out I'll probably have my ice fishing suit on haha
Always fun to go along with you out there! Thanks for taking us! Keep gettin after em my friend!
@davidwilliams1805 Thanks man! Thank you for watching! 🙂
Nice video! Way to show us how to get it done!! Good job on the slam!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I just hope I can get out and complete it next month too!
sweet video man just subbed
Awesome! Thank you for subscribing and thank you for watching! 🙂
Great job completing the slam! Keep up the great work my friend!
@davidwilliams1805 Thank you! Definitely didn't land on them that great, but I still found some haha
That freedom mischief minnow looks really cool, interested to see how it performs. And those yum craws should hammer em! Decent box this time.
It does look pretty cool, and I really like those yum ned craws too!
Nice unboxing! Looked like a nice box this month! Looking forward to the slam. Thanks for sharing
I agree, I liked just about everything that was in there! Thank you for watching!
I thought it was a decent box! Thanks for sharing the baits. Keep doing your thing buddy!
Thanks man! I appreciate that! 🙂
That scrounger jig was on fire, tons of nice bass. Wacky rig is a super confidence bait for me, when all else fails i love to toss one around. Great day of catchin, seemed like you were able to avoid the wind a bit more today. Only a couple bodies of water near me are open for another 2 weeks, i had better get out there one last time!
@@davidmitchell828 Most definitely! Get out as much as possible before you can't.
you build all those rods?
@loganscott9227 Yeah, most of them. I do have some that are by Savage Gear too.
Where I'm at the chain pickerel LOVE spinner and bladed jigs, i felt your pain when you said you want them to catch bass! Haha.. Also i like the color on that bladed jig. Blk/blue/Chartrues?
Yeah thats right! The black/blue/chart color is a pretty sweet combo.
Bigg'n to end the day! Wind was a MF'er. I havent dove into the world of glide/swimbaits mainly because the price. Nothing worse than losing an expensive lure 😭
Haha yeah that was a $30 mistake on my end! I typically throw them on 20lb fluorocarbon so that helps but sometimes things happen haha.
Honestly never throw the carolina rig. With the season winding down, i will def have to rig up a pole for next season. I usually tie on a VMC heavyduty widegap hook, but i like the googan HH shape, and you keep proving that they're a great hook. Great day of catchin!
Yeah, its definitely worth trying out and next year I am going experiment with other baits because there are some sneaky ones that would be great on the carolina rig. I do like the Googan HH hook but that VMC HD widegap hook is also a favorite too.
Nice morning lunker to start the day 👌 very interested hybrid bait. Lunkerhunt is a weird special brand that either smashes the fish, or doesnt work at all haha. Ive found a couple baits i really like by them. Also really like the live sonar perspective you showed us - chasing baitfish! Ive been away all week getting married - playing catch up on the videos this morning! ☕🎣
Yeah man I agree with you about Lunkerhunt baits. This is the only squarebill I have from them but I have like 6 more on order haha. I try to show you guys as much as I can what I'm looking at just to try to help. CONGRATULATIONS on getting married man!
Thanks for sharing more good information! I hope you have a great weekend! Tight lines!
@@davidwilliams1805 Thank you! You too!
Nice video fighting that wind and catching some nice ones! Thanks for sharing!
Yeah, I hate fishing in the wind but dang, sometimes it gets results haha
Enjoyed the video buddy! Good job! Thanks for sharing more great content!
@davidwilliams1805 I appreciate that man! Thank you for watching!
Nice Tournament 👍 chatterbaits are fun fishing, what brand were you using ?
I use Picasso. My favorite from them is the Tungsten Football head bladed jigs. Great for largemouth and smallmouth. Plus, those blades kick faster than any of the Zman bladed jigs that I've used. The Jackhammer is the only other bladed jig that competes with the Picasso Football bladed jig.
@@AROoutdoors I will give them a try 🎣
@@davidmeadows6922 Awesome!
Awesome. Like the layout. Huge bed!
Thanks man! I knew if I was going to spend time in there it was mainly to sleep so I went with as big of a bed as possible hahaha
I absolutely love fishing a Carolina Rig! Great video and great job! Thanks for another great adventure out there on the water. Thank you and I hope that you have a great weekend!
@davidwilliams1805 It's definitely a rig that grew on me even though I'm a late bloomer on the technique haha Thank you for watching! I always appreciate the views and comments!
Nice video! Lunkerhunt can surprise you from time to time! That crankbait catches fish! Thanks for sharing!
@All_is_Outdoors Yes they can! I've found a few nice gems from them now. I'm going to look into more of their baits. I have had some duds though too.
A really cool looking bait! I've never seen the Glitch Blade before this. Thanks for sharing with us! All good stuff!
@davidwilliams1805 I haven't either, I saw it in the store and bought it on impulse haha
Agreed!!
@@thekracken4572 🤘
Guys check your screen at the bottom of your main oil tank to make sure its not plugged. Then replace the small oil filter $5. Then check the back check valve after the oil filter and then there is a back check valve on the engine. If these back check valves fail you wont get oil to your engine oil tank. also check your lines for air leaks and your cap is seated properly. the last thing I would do is the actual tank on the motor, those usually don't fail. the other parts are cheap and easy to replace.
Great tips!
Good job out there! Thanks for taking us along!
Thank you!
Looked like a great day of fishing, culling 'em off the back of the boat! Good job man👍
Thanks dude! It was a lot of fun!
Nice boat draw for sure, he sounded like a great fella. 1 fish in the tank, bring on day 2 👍
@@davidmitchell828 He definitely is a great guy!
Enjoyed the video buddy! One is definitely better than a skunk! You'll get em next time! Thanks for taking us along.
@davidwilliams1805 This is true! Stay tuned for day 2. It should be uploaded Monday morning.
Nailed it. I really liked the first 2 jig combos you rigged up. Also nice looking pads in that lake, knew there would be a good blowup on that frog haha good job!
Yeah, those jig combos surprised me how great they looked and worked.
Decent box for sure, should be able to hammer some on each of those baits!
Most definitely!
Great job!!!
Thank you!!
Nice video! You always make the slam look easy well except that last bait! Thanks for sharing!
Haha, yeah, that last bait was a tough one, but I just needed to get back to the basics and find the bait on those deeper weed lines.
Great job completing the Slam! Thanks for some good information as well! Thank you! Keep gettin after em buddy!
Thank you! Thank you for watching, I appreciate it very much!
Smash in vise or hammer on anvil also work
I agree with you 100%
To me, this was a really nice box with a good value. Appreciate you sharing it. Good job!
I think so too!
Nice unboxing! Nice looking MTB box for September! I would say its a good value this month! Now get that slam done!! Thanks for sharing!
haha You got it!
I have great results throwing it on a 3/8 oz underspin or a swimjig. Love them!
That's a solid rig for catching big ones! What's your biggest bass on those? I've used them on the jig and got some big bites but have not tried them on the underspin yet. I may have to try that out!
@@AROoutdoors Pretty consistent 3-4.pound fish. One over five. Taking some to El Salto this December. The smoke color looks a lot like a big BIG tadpole.
@@joeboyd7796 Thats awesome! I hope you crush the giants out there!
Yeah I really those tags would make culling a breeze!
@@davidmitchell828 They definitely do
Great video and tips, can you walk me through the 5 rods and reel setups with line size, etc that you use for tournament time?
Yeah definitely! 7'0" Medium spinning rod with a quantum throttle 2 2500 series spinning reel spooled with 10lb braid to a 10lb fluorocarbon leader which had my wacky worm on it. 7'0" medium heavy casting rod with a quantum smoke baitcasting reel spooled with straight 17lb fluorocarbon line that I threw the bladed jig on. 7'6" heavy casting rod with a quantum smoke baitcasting reel spooled with straight 50lb braided line for the frog. 7'6" heavy casting rod with a quantum smoke baitcasting reel spooled with straight 50lb braided line for my pitching and punching rig. 7'4" heavy casting rod with a quantum smoke baitcasting reel spooled with straight 50lb braided line for throwing a jig in heavy cover.

Nice video! The KraXen looks good and a few bass seem to like it as well! Thanks for sharing!
It definitely is a little different and they make a tube version too. I am planning on doing video on the tube version at some point.
Covering water and checking off those non-productive areas is important. I though you did really well. Enjoyed the video and appreciate you sharing this. As always my friend, keep gettin after em!

Pretty cool experience being up on that stage i bet! I like your approach as a co-angler being there to learn and take away from the whole thing. I could only imagine being able to fish at that level, Good job man!
