Fantastic piece of music!! Apart from this: impressive performance
Very lovely, nice pattern at the beginning! ❤ Too bad the percussion-line isn‘t notated here, would love to see that.
That's probably because it sounds like the percussion in this piece is a Cajon. It's really hard to write up notation for hand percussion as expressive as something like a Cajon, Djembe, Bodhran, etc. (Yes, Bodhran is played using a stick, but still feels more like hand percussion than not) as even the slightest change in how and where you strike the drum changes the sound entirely. It's easy to write a note that means "Strike the snare drum." Much harder to write a note that says "Strike the upper corner of the Cajon, with medium strength, using just your fingers and no hand" (This instruction would all matter, BTW. Upper corner of the face of a Cajon removes most of the bass tone, thus allowing more of the snare sound to come through. Hit it too hard, and you just get a quick 'snap' sound, more like a rim tap than a snare drum, too soft and you don't engage the snare springs behind the wood face enough to make a sound, so it just sounds like wood. Using only the fingers and not the hand results in a sharper sound and less bass, as the finger bones act more like drumsticks, compared to the palm's softer, more muted surface, like a mallet.) I've always found that such instruments are best played by ear.
i would love to change to bass clarinet but it looks so hard and i would have to learn a bunch of new fingerings
Bellissimo brano! Complimenti!
Great job! Were you at a church in this video? Do you play in church? That's awesome ❤
Вы гений!
Amazing!!!!
BANGER!
That F was so so controlled at the end it’s crazy
Hi, I came across this video while trying to learn how to play the double high notes on the clarinet. By double high notes, I mean the notes that go above the c above middle c. It is the c where you play f with the register key pressed. Everytime I try to do so I keep getting a sound with no note being played, almost like a buzzing sound. I do not know how to fix this and it would be great if you could guide me through this comment.
Wow
Just purchased this score, I look forward to performing this with my group. Amazing composition Mr. Krasikov! :)
I might be performing this with my friends in hs
5:00
I ADORE this. Did you come up with this technique?
As a brass player... What did I just hear-
awesome
M. Omutov on "Cojon"? niezłe jajca 🤣
What about a version for saxophone quartet too? This sounds amazing 🎉❤
Ooooh I LOVE this! I'd love playing this with my quartet.. especially since I'm the bass clarinet!! 😃
Oh my gosh. The quartet I play with NEEDS to perform this; its brilliant! I'm the bass😍
woah... this is insane
your sound sounds is so pleasing
This is lovely! Thank you, it's perfect.
Wonderful. I loved your piece. I want to be an amazing composer like you, this is really inspiring.
Amazing! I was very inspired by your Mephisto Dances and (as a composer myself) was wondering how you’d notate things like this? Your score for the aforementioned piece is very illuminating in this regard, but I was wondering if it would be the same for instruments like saxophone. Thanks!
Игнат,приветствую ) Какой мундштук и трости,интересно?
Приветствую! Selmer concept D’addario reserve 3,5
Selmer Privilege. Не важно какой инструмент. Морески-нормальные. Главное желание, и все, чего хочешь, получится:) Я как то пробовал пластиковый буффе до миь, очень меня удивил. Хороший инструмент
Wow! Awesome 😎
Thanks!!
Hi, this is a very nice and interesting composition ! Sometimes remind me of the progressive music from "Gong" (that I love!).
Using the quartet as its own percussion section, with advanced technique, and not slipping into ultra avante-garde is wonderful to hear, congratulations!
Thank you!
Muito bonita, adorei, vou tentar aprender
The faces I made during this piece lol! ❤❤❤❤
What in the Leo P 😳 Btw this would sound interesting as a sax qartet Jokes aside, this sounds insane mad respect to those clarinets especially the higher ones for pulling off those overtoneglissis
Космос!!!💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥 С кахоном очень колоритно!!!
Just re-write the quarter triplets into binary rhythm (or they need to learn how to play ternary…). I love the composition anyway. Bravo!
woaaaaa that was really nice, im starting to appreciate clarinets and woodwinds in general more now :D
🙌🙌🙌
Hermoso!!!!! 👏👏👏
Thank you!!!
I love clarinets but this sounds like ass
Dang this is so nice 😂
Can you do another video showing how to play some of the notes that are not regular blowing notes
Love the clarinet. Very versatile instrument.

0:54 How to speak Vietnamese on a clarinet
I need to see this performed live. I need to learn how to play the bass part. I need to learn these techniques they're so interesting, both in technique and sound.
I need to see this performed on video. It would look amazing.
Hi! I only have a record of the very first performance. th-cam.com/video/97D_-AX_Xl8/w-d-xo.html
Wow love this. Would love to see it live! Anyone know of any clarinet ensembles in the Indianapolis area? Long shot but worth a try haha
This is genuinely breathtaking.
This is incredible!! But the triplets... so inaccurate
What a great piece!
