Waterproof FPV drone fail

Not 100% waterproof. I did not coat the USB ports. I think it shorted out the 5v BEC because I still had goggles feed until impact with the roof. I used MG Chemicals 422C

@@CrispinCourtenay but the tires are hardened rubber non friction non traction tires .that's how we drift . Tire shops around here don't have tires for drifting .
Don't try this with normal street tires . And the footage from the drone was great . You need to have a job in Hollywood. And the driver got skills

How long does it take to learn to fly this good? Just got my first ever drone DJI mini 2 se. want to get good to do a fpv how fast does it go and how far can you send it.
I started on a fpv flight simulator called lift off. If you are good at video games that require independent stick control you will pick it up fast. This drone's range is limited by its 3.5min battery life. The furthest I've gone with my long range drone is 3 miles from home it's capable of 5 or 6 miles.

Hi! Im really curious but not a lot of people have answered this Q... Why not manually take over once it is within a reasonable distance from the home point?
Certainly could have. But this is my first betafight gps drone. I programmed it to a switch I rarely use. It started going wrong fast. Didn't know the controls.
@@senditsamfpv Ah, I get it. The classic panic mode. It gets us all,, and in the worst possible way too...
Panic will always be the #1 cause of crashing. :) It's the hardest part of flying to overcome. x.x Keep at it! :)
I have had successful landings all the time I tried GPS rescue .I tried it on 4.4 RC 1 itself .I have never put a Gopro on it .While descending the quad wiggles a lot in search of the coordinates and in your case it seems the battery ejected due to excessive wiggling. Strap on tight next time .of course after replacing the Arm😢
thats a thick arm and still broke. I havent tested my GPS lol scared it will go bad

You can tune the RTH PID values in the cli for smoother autonomous flight.
Betaflight is great. But here's my advice : if you want proper RTH but the setup is similar to Betaflight, use INAV. There's a reason why they name it GPS RESCUE.
Try the Supafly 7" tune
I'll give that a shot. I'm still waiting on a replacement arm. Feels like forever.
Something similar happened to my F6D with GPS Rescue. I also disarmed while in panik when it came down over our house😂 (over 7-8 meters away from takeoff point). I had 13 sats on takeoff😅
You have something not set right. I have set up 8 drones and they do not do this. Its not a tuning issue.
Actually betaflight uses a RTH PID controller that can be tuned. It's only available in CLI.
@@cinemoriahFPV what values do you suggest for a 7 inch? Are the default gps pids on the high or low side??
my first test RTH ended with dissarming over a tree and second on 10 meters height. The flight to home still has been more stable.

How do you get your Elodea/Anacharis to grow? And don’t the goldfish eat it all up?
They do eat it alot of it but it is currently sustainable. It can grow from a 4in cut off section. For me, in zone 5a, I typically cut and plant in gravel in spring and it grows the most in late summer.
