As you go deeper into the run, Endless Factor destroys the drop rates from normal enemies and Trees. Instead, with enough Luck, you will obtain guaranteed Crates from Elites and Bosses, as their numbers will increase every 10 waves. Many of these Crates shall be recycled for additional income (which then gets converted to max HP due to Demon's passive as well as Padding).

You don't want to be full HP, because you would not collect the fruits. And torture ist unique

The win condition of a HP scaling build in Endless is Spicy Sauce. The idea is that eventually, Demon stacks so much HP that collecting Fruit triggers Spicy Sauce and guarantees high damage, fullscreen explosions. Torture, combined with Sad Tomato, means you'll never have to worry about proactively collecting Fruit. Torture limits all other sources of healing besides itself (until the end of the round). Before deep Endless, it is possible to stack enough Consumable Healing to where you heal back to full HP and no longer collect Fruit automatically.

The current world record is 2000, but that implies ending the run. Demon definitely could go for longer than that in the current patch. We'll see if the upcoming patch shakes up the meta.

Through brute force, you'll find Crown much earlier than Round 19. In fact, quite a few of my other challenges runs require early Crown. I would rate the run 8 out of 10. A nutty run would hit all the gamechanging economy items before Round 20. This rating easily drops if I was missing a Hunting Trophy for too many rounds or couldn't transition into other weapons.

The run "stopped" at Wave 1030 due to wanting to play other challenges. I still have the save file, so resuming the run for the future is an option.

Yeah, have to continually shepard enemies into the Mines until you have a critical mass for board wiping.

@@ChaoticVice777 also really fun and hard is the screwdriver on Old. Super small map, if you get some explosive radius you can really blow up the whole map.

RIP, maybe I had the time. Trying to weave through Waver and Kintoki stuns already is painful. Not to mention Santa Martha was overleveled by my own mistakes.

There are occasions where I'd buy Gummy Berserker, but not for deep Endless. Armor is one of the more difficult stats to scale, even with Anvil. Endless Factor significantly reduces invincibility frames upon being hit, and thus, you'd need far more Tardigrades. Furthermore, even if you did got the damage reduction from Armor to say "100%" (i.e. 99.5% and above due to rounding), enemies will deal so much damage that you'll still most likely get one shot. Additionally, both Range and Attack Speed have diminishing returns ranging from the map itself to how fast the enemies and Fruit comes to you.

The shop offers free rerolls when you buy all four offered items. Baits were locked to abuse this as much as possible, and eventually, rerolls can cost so much that buying out an entire shop without locking can be cheaper.

I skipped on Luck with the Elephants since I had felt that the extra damage mitigation was higher priority.

And then you lock explosives shells and tardigrade as well. Doesn't locking them prevent them from dropping? I get that it locks in their prices but what benefit is that if you're going to buy them later anyway, and if you aren't going to buy them later, why lock them at all?

@pierceblk6838 That early into Endless, you won't have enough crates dropped from Elites and Bosses to reasonably fish for these items. Locking the price means planning long term, at least 20 waves ahead. That said, with the newest patch, locking items no longer restricts the drop pool. Also need to factor that I'm trying to keep as much max HP as possible while doing the transitions.

Shame you can't use this tactic in the first two shops, but it probably doesn't change the grand scheme.

Harvesting still remains king. If there was a way to improve the run beyond shop execution, it'd be Crown. Pushing attempts takes hours, and there's events in other games that eat up practice time. 😭

I don't need the extra attack speed by that point. I am constantly buying and selling weapons to abuse shop mechanics. When you buy an entire shop, you obtain a free reroll. The reroll price keeps going up with additional waves and more rerolling. The idea is to keep that reroll price as low as possible. Eventually, the reroll prices go so high that I might even buy two Baits and two items since that'd be cheaper than doing another reroll.

Unironically, it's been a very long time since I've gotten proactive constructive criticism for my content. I appreciate your thoughts, and I can only hope my thoughts will portray my rationale (and lack thereof). For context, I didn't find this run to be a special enough occasion to warrant grinding down my Apples. Those resources were intended for clearing my roster's final skill requirements with Marthamas. I had limited access to Ignore Defense options and problems finding a friend with an esports Holmes on short notice. Morgan had Append 2, and I fully intend to get her to NP5 over time. The gacha debacles meant patience for getting her to 120 and the Extra Attack Append. I had known from the beginning that I fielded too many star bomb CEs. I wish I had the second Ox King. Here lies my major regret from the one instance where I burned out from FGO. I didn't find issues with refunding NP, and stacking NP charge on death effects didn't seem significant. Hazarding a guess at using Taunt CEs? Based on my preliminary testing (was morbidly curious if I could replicate the FLO comp), I kept being 20k off from breaking Nobukatsu's bar. As you mentioned, I could have stacked Koyanskaya's second skill to clear through that gap. I had tried this, and after failing to clear with other Brave Chains, it seems like Morgan would need Turn 2 NPBB? I really need to become proficient at using the bots for calculations. I really wanted to fit in Nightingale, but she's already been used in prior CQs. Kotarou hardly gets representation, and I expected that he could be fielded in this CQ without getting punished for having higher stats. No excuses for Bedivere and Caesar; I had forgotten about them.
