Did the 911 gt3's sound absurdly quiet to anyone else this year? I remember at the gt america race last year those things SCREAMED. This race I swear I could hardly hear them even when they were driving by themselves. I was shocked that they actually sounded quieter than the m4 gt3's and aston martins which were some of the more quiet cars at the sro race.

Why Sainz isn't getting a penalty shows the lack of consistency. Checko was drafting left and Calos turned into him. Sure it was a brain fart but it caused a crash.

It's actually worrying that people in comments don't realise that Perez doesn't have to move. He left the space, he is entitled to stay on his line and Sainz should be aware of the car beside him and not to move into him.

Perez did the same mistake like Monaco 😮😮

Sainz knew what he was doing, he was squeezing perez and then they crashed

Sainz did slightly drift left but that’s normal racing lines as Charles ahead also took that line. Sainz is also the driver ahead and it’s Perez who still squeezes him and takes him out. Perez should’ve given more space and he would’ve overtaken Sainz. A bit overzealous from Perez in my opinion especially considering he needed a big result here. Overall both drivers significantly contributed to the collision and I’d say no further action should be taken.

50/50. Carlos' trajectory out of the corner put him moving to the left. More than likely blind to where Perez was. Perez didnt alter his line but had plenty of room to move left but he didn't.

Sainz is ahead, has the right to squeeze Perez a bit, especially considering that the next turn in a right turn, both cars should be moving towards the left to prepare for the next turn. Perez has no reason to not move left and stay straight towards the righthand side of the track when the next turn is a right turn. Also since Perez is behind he has way better view of what's going on. Most drivers would drive like Sainz, and most drivers would drive left in Perez situation because they're behind, have full view, and want to avoid collision. I do however think it's small margins, sun probably making it hard to see for both drivers, and hopefully no penalties.

The white line is getting closer to the wall. Sainz was driving for the normal racing line. Perez could have avoided it.
