Would that knot work with a frog clip type of connection as every video I watched on frog clips (only difference have 2 points on the d ring) you have to splice the rope. Would you say this knot is strong enough for a big dog. I know the connector is but i dont want to try and find out the knot is weak

Easy to tie and untie, useful knot!

It would add a lot if the name of the knot was provided so that the knot could be referenced in conversation. Without the name, the channel is not nearly so useful as it could be.
