Hi. They are completely different layouts, but I would have thought it was possible to create a profile in SPAD. I would suggest you'd have to do some searching on the forums.

Yeah, I haven't flown out of or into the airport yet. I guess you pay your money and take your choice. Any airport with 4k textures, this size and with so much detail is likely to have a hit of some degree on performance.

Hi, thanks for your support. Sure, the VC cockpit panel was filmed in game with Nvidia recorder and the actual panel was recorded with my DSLR camera. Then it's just a matter of importing the two video files onto two separate timelines in the edit, creating a matt, dragging the VC version to the left of the frame and the other to the right side of the frame, and then bringing the two layers together into a single timeline.

Hi, you must have the COMPLETE EDITION OF SPAD. You then need to run the correct profile, or snippet as they call it. Here is an earlier reply to another simmer: Firstly, the profiles are greyed out and unavailable unless you you have the aircraft loaded and have the panel connected. Also you need to have one of the switches clicked on as though yopu are going through the process of configuring switches. I know it seems ridiculous, but I had the same problem as you until someone told me how to do it, very sill That's the only way I have been able to resolve things. Importamt.....I'm assuming you have the panel actually recognised by SPAD and it is showing up. Then: Turn off panel Launch MSFS Load PMDG cold and dark 737 Open SPAD Sync the panel by turning on and off and on again. Click HIGH ALT LANDING button just above logo light Click on the third icon on left (stack of radios)This will bring up a diagram of one of the panel switches Click on any switch in the diagram This will make avaialbe a box bottom right called ONLINE SNIPPET The profile you need is: 6362 Here's another video of mine that may help: th-cam.com/video/X473wvDknMw/w-d-xo.html

What do you mean when you say until recently. Is it no longer possible to change the values in the cfg?

@@Rocky-zv1yk I had changed the value and immediately after the release of your video. Today I went back into the simulator settings and I saw that it was no longer the same, so I went into the cfg folder and set the number but when I go back into the simulator it doesn't increase and it stays at 2048

@@tattojohn the only two possibilities are that 1) you didn't save the file after making the changes or 2) Asobo have introduced something in a small update that does not allow the change. I find it strange though. I haven't flown for a few weeks, but I will check at my end and report back.

@@Rocky-zv1yk Look, I can confirm that everything is due to the update that was done in the last few hours, um, because I save the file and I did it more than once, but it's not possible and it's certainly due to the update done by Asobo.

Hmm, I can't comment as I have never flown the Fenix. Do you have SPAD? It's my understanding that virtually anything can be configured through that.

@@Rocky-zv1yk Yep, I have SPAD. I think the Fenix MCDU display data is licenced under Prosim or something. Rumours say they are going through an agreement process to let that data be used for hardware like this. There is hope.

Sure. The way I undertake starting the OH, is I have it switched on before I start SPAD, once SPAD starts up, it goes through the normal start up process then it recognises the panel and as it syncs it asks to switch off the panel and then turn it back on again (occasionally it doesn't show this message in which case I just switch it off and then back on again.). Once I do this, the panel is sinced and works fine. Is this not what you experience?

@@skyhigh776 it had never asked me to turn off and turn on it just goes through the procedure and asks me to press the high alt ldg button

For instance if I want to turn on the battery switch I will have to pull It down back up then back down for it to work but that’s only on the first go. Then it works like normal After I have to do that everytime I run spad

Sorry my friend, I operate MSFS2020, which I'm 99.9% certain operates in a different manner to fs2004. In MSFS the OH links to the sim via SpadNext. I do remember using the VRInsight Boeing MCP unit in P3d. From what I remember, it was a bit of a faff to get going. I used FSUIPC and LINDA. I don't mean to be rude, but fs2004 is so old, are you sure the units are compatible with that version of sim? What Windows version, is it compatible? I suggest you join the forum Avsim, that way you can get access to many other simmers , some who may share your setup. Good luck.

@@skyhigh776 Thanks for your answer, I use ein 10 and it is compatible since when I bought it they used it in fs2004, but something happens and it doesn't allow me, the linda program is not compatible with fs2004, and sped.next does not have vrinsight in its menu modules..thank you very much.

Thanks for the kind words. Sure, the MCP/EFIS are mounted between two sections of 12mm MDF. Sprayed in the correct RAL 7011 colour car paint. The top piece, if you look carefully, is covered in a synthetic leather material, glued with Gorilla glue. BTW, watch this channel, a sI will be making a video abiut how I built my sim. Hi, sure. The material I used to cover some of the areas is just a simulated leatherette material. The wood used throughout the build is both 18mm and 12mm MDF. 12mm for the MIP and 18mm for the main structure.
