That's why I have no respect for organizations like the African Union. If these are not issues for them to discuss and agree on, what exactly to those rulers discuss when they meet? How to stay in power forever? Where is the spirit of pan africanism in them? where is the patriotism?

I'm sorry to hear your dilemma. I totally agree with you to not spend your own hard earned money in a country that does not welcome you or violates your rights. I am of African descent born in the UK, and I know that that the British passport has weight across the world purely because many of the destination countries that were once colonised by Britain still have the old, destructive colonial systems that benefit the western nations over the African nations. These colonial systems were deliberately and strategically implemented by the different European nations to ensure they all benefit from their respective colonies in terms of air and land resources. Considering the fact that at the time that Africa was colonised and the people then were considered less than animals, they had no say over their fait. But now that the African countries are supposedly free, should they dismantle the colonial systems and re-established their own systems based on their own cultural norms and values? When Nkrumah preached African unity and said Africa for Africans at home and abroad, he was speaking about black people who had African blood running through their veins (both continental Africans and descendants of Africans who were stolen from Africa to reunite. Unfortunately, not all leaders agreed with him at the time, hence the reason why Africa is still in the embarrassing state it is in in terms of how the people are treated. As far as I am concerned, as long as Africa continues to operate within the boundaries of the colonial systems, they will never see true freedom as the coloniser will always control the global political movement while Africa continue to support the distractions like Israel rather than pay close attention to the real issues that has been going on in the DRC for decades at the hands of multinational companies like Apple who arm rebels to continue to murder and rape. Without a united army for Africa, without a single currency, without the civilians owning the resources, puppets like Auto will sell the country to the highest foreign bidder. Only racially proud youths of Africa can change things overnight. I love what the military leaders of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger have done to oust those corrupt leaders who pander to the interests of the West. More countries in the Sahel need to join forces with these countries to ensure they strengthen their military against terrorist encroachment. The western nations won't give up Africa on a plate, Africans must be prepared to fight for what is theirs if they want to be truly respected around the world. In fact, when Africa is truly free then the rest of the Black nations around the world will be free and respected.

@@Toby_Escapades You're welcome! Western and Eastern hegemony must not be allowed to creep back into Africa. In case you did not know, the purpose of the International NGOs is to capture data from the continent and feed them back to their source....in this case, their respective countries. They are also in Africa to tap material resources and cause destabilisation during elections. So far, they have managed to get away with their deceit. But the citizens need to know why they are there so that they are sent out. If they were truly there to help assist in the infrastructures of Africa then obvious changes would have been realised decades ago. But of course they are not there to assist, but rather there to ensure Africa does not develop. If you look into their existence you will see that many of the Western NGOs have lavish accommodations for their foreign workers. At least 90% of donations go to pay for these accommodations which leaves less than 10% to go towards assisting the poor....it at all. I recall a white lecturer boldly telling us that the largest number of NGOs operate in Africa, not to make massive changes, but to ensure Africa does not develop. Yes, and he said that the majority of these large NGOs are there to be the eyes and ears of the Western governments. Any NGO funded by foreign companies or governments will expect to be provided with data in return. So we have Africans employed on the ground willingly providing data without realising they are being the gatekeepers of the West. I've known this for over 10 years, so it was refreshing to hear Dr Arikana and professor PLO Lumumba saying exactly the same things. My prayer is to ensure that our brothers and sisters on the continent and in the Caribbean are well armed with knowledge so that they can avoid being manipulated like their elders. The day of wising up is NOW!

I am proud to be a Nigerian, however this is not the time for national pride, but a time to have a serious discussion about whether indeed as many now think, the name Nigeria, her passport and paraphernalia, is indeed an unmitigable liability to all that is associated with it. Nigerians tend to constitute a nuisance in these countries and so they are having reasons to deny their visa application.
