Welcome to the TH-cam channel of FIRST Tech Challenge Team 8645 - Robotic Doges (Doges rhymes with Rogues). The Robotic Doges have a proven track record of success which they build on to inspire area youth to maximize their potential. The Robotic Doges qualified for Worlds in 2020 (before Covid-19 cased its cancellation), made it to the “final Four” alliances at back to back 2018 and 2017 FIRST World Championships, won the FTC East Super-Regional Championship in 2016-17 and the Pennsylvania State Championship in 2015-16 and 2014-15. The Robotic Doges give back to our community by delivering presentations to local organizations, providing demos at community events, and offering training and support to regional FIRST teams through workshops and mentoring.

Wire cutter tip: Get the most out of the leverage provided by the wire cutters by cutting with the back end of the jaws rather than the tip. It'll make it easier to cut any wires and be less tiring when you have a lot of cuts to make. Also, practice cutting courtesy when using wire cutters: when cutting off a piece of wire from the end of a longer piece or when cutting component leads to size, cover the portion you're trimming off with your hand so it doesn't go flying off into someone's (or your own) eyeball. Your friends will appreciate you for thinking of them. 👍

That’s a wild transfer module I love it! Be sure to review the game manual on the human player because someone will likely strike you down penalties for holding rings in future competitions.
Thanks for the caution about human player guidelines. All our matches were submitted for review by FTC’s Head Referee for PA and confirmed to be in compliance with Ultimate Goal rules. His ruling clarified that discussions in FTC’s Monthly Referee Calls said the intent of the “hoarding” rule was to prevent one alliance from hoarding rings from another alliance in a traditional competition setting. In remote settings where only one robot is on the field, the hoarding rule is less strictly applied in favor of return of rings in a reasonably timely manner.

Hey guys, the rule for the wobble goal to be eligible for scoring in endgame is that the wobble goals cannot be in the launch zone before the start of endgame, so ur second wobble goal would not count, just an FYI
