One hundred percent true relax 😌
Hi, where did you get these from, just started playing and got a free set with a board
These are from Red Dragon Darts, they have a great range of cheap, high quality darts
My average is a 100 would you be my darts coach coz my nerves R shit
I can promise you don’t want me as a coach. Trust your play and practice with pressure is my best tip for nerves
Zen rooting technique.. how haven't I thought of this? Nice one, thanks
A little routine i use is to throw at the bull with my first dart then try to hit the double of whatever number i land in or closest to. Good advice from you, especially the overthinking.
Are you a moron or this a parody? The only reason you miss is due to balance? What's about.... Miss alignment Pulling. Elbow rotation. Hand turn. Uneven pressure of the grip. Spinning the dart off. Decelerating. Incarnate visual perceptions. Shoulder movement. I could hit 70+av on one leg with my left hand. That's how small of a difference this will make.
Very good explanation ❤ keep it up
Thanks! I'll try!
Great tips. The one foot balance thing has improved my game so much. Top man 👍
Excellent advice. Throw in a bit of Shanghai and you’ll rocket.
I throw from left side of oche so my darts end up sticking strsight in board, standing middle to right of oche, my darts then stick in board with shaft and flights lying to the right, ie in the board at an angle not 90° outward, not sure if this will make sense. Any help to correct this. Is it grip or technique of throw to fault.?
Not everyone can do the same never happens
Missed darts countet
What weight are u throwing?
20g in this video but I do tend to throw 24g too.
i average about 60-70 per game but hit alot of t5 t3, thanks for the tips
Great simple effective. Cheers
Darts still going left
Good stuff. I'm surprises there's not more people getting this in-depth with the technique, mechanics.
Love the artwork behind you😊
I thought this was nonsense but tried anyway. Immediately went from 35 average to 60. Obviously still not great, but a huge improvement. Thank you.
Nothing wrong with a 60 average, proper solid level of play
is your foot meant to be behind the oche line and not on it?
How to assemble x-flight wing pls help me
i actually wear the exact same shoes when i play💀
all great players do
Yo that room seems sick
I play in a cricket club and many of them are naturally decent at throwing straight, once they get their grip right, as they are used to bowling in a straight line over a longer distance
Gotta keep ur arm straight tho, if you can I stand to the left as I lean to my right to straighten up, if that makes sense
Phil taylor put his leg In line with the center of the bullseye
It is not what Phil Taylor did but what makes sense in order to achieve your best effort!
Typically having an around 60 average (which is pretty good considering I started some years ago throwing under 30), but being pretty ambitious about darts I just want to know where my progess ends, maybe at 70, maybe I even reach 80 some day. I will try this trick, as even though I am a relatively respectable player I still struggle with my throwing and standing technique. Maybe that helps, thanks for the suggestion anyway!
Foot sideways and you're 6 inches closer
I’m sold
Never mind the bloody darts, laffin my head off, thank you
Never mind the darts, that motorbike should not be in a room, back t the darts....
My pet hate is throwing for double 8 and hitting 11. This has cost me many times when I subsequently cannot for the life of me hit a 1 or 3. Yet when I aim for 20 or 19 I have zero trouble hitting 1 or 3.....
Thank you for sharing this
Yeah... i cant wear slides. Ill stick with the 26s ..
basic, but so true. 👊 confirmed!
100% my downfall. I don't drink alcohol, so I can't use that excuse xD Appreciate the reminder. I always notice when I'm firm in my stance (balanced) I throw the dart much more consistently to my target destination. Your attitude alone is how people should approach darts, new or old.
The secret in throwing a dart straight is in the flipflops.
Ok. What did you use.
Just fairy liquid and hot water
Some great advice there. Keep up the good work
i love your attitude
True words, great advice, liked and followed 👍 I'm guilty of just throwing for the 20
I'm not knocking you but I can tell you after years of doing that stance it played havoc with the knee of my lead leg. I had to resort to a balanced stance.
Without coming across as being disrespectful, it’s probably worth you getting down the gym and working on your leg strength.
Short answer is no! The idea of different shapes is predominantly achieving the dart landing flat in the board. If you throw a heavier dart you'll most likely need the standard flight to get the lift anyway. Lighter darts can play around with flight shapes more effectively. Interesting to note that the ladies don't faff around with this stuff. They're all using standard equipment.
I am definitely trying this thank you❤
Cheers for the video it's really helpful. I have tried to change everything in my throw, and nothing has really helped. I'd never thought about balance/stance until now. It's really helping thanks
Love the flip flops! Thanks for the good tips!👍🙂
When i started throwing darts i just hold my dart like a pen, but now i figured out that u should grip the darts with an lock-wrist, but when i try to implement the lock wrist my darts fly everywhere... should i keep my old grip, or try to get used to the new grip with an lock wrist??
I used to advocate a locked wrist however, I would now say throw however is comfortable and keeps your body relaxed
What stems are those?
From memory, I think they are the Red Dragon VRX Medium lengths. I’ve used VRX and Nitro shafts but prefer the VRX
You need a shorter stem for those darts
