I have an old Panasonic GX7 in a Nauticam housing. I don’t use lights but white balance against my hand before each shot so I don’t have to do much colour correction when I edit the video.
@@rogsvideos I'm in UK based, flights are over £ 1k return, plus I understand moving between islands is expensive, then 2 tanks don't come cheap...I shall see 😀!! For now.. already booked 1 month in Dahab, Blue Hole and The Bels will do for this winter... I can see...Indonesia and Ambon,Raja...it's your home!!! Good for you, enjoy!!
I love Salt Pier, didn't see any spotted eagle rays when I was diving it last month. You got some of favorite target species that I love seeing- turtles, eels, scorpion fish. What camera did you use? Nice sunset shot. Last time, I said just give me a truck, 5 tanks and a sack lunch and leave me at Salt Pier.
Bryan Dees I hope you have a good time. Assuming you are planning to eat at the resort I don't think you will need to bring your own supplies, the food was good and they serve both local and German. The only things I'd recommend taking are the standard things I'd take when in the tropics - hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent etc.
Wonderful video and place with black coral forest and seafans. Where is it and was it deep ? (I'am only snorkeler). look like Raja Ampat west waigeo Aljui bay
Fantastic video! It is so amazing, so I used this video to convey the beauty of Lankan Manta Point: divebooker.com/lankan-manta-point-baz13822 So leave your advices, experiences, skills on our website. We would be thankful for it!
@scubadds49 Sorry to hear you didn't see many Mantas, we've just come back from another trip out there ourselves. Like you we didn't see much on Lankan this time but had a great trip otherwise - I'll be posting some more video at some point in the future. I don't use a red filter but use the custom white balance function using my hand to white balance against.
Fantastic video. Just got back from Maldives. Very disappointed. Only 1 brief manta encounter. I have an Xacti 1010 in an Époque housing. Did you use a red filter and white balance?
I didn't use a colour filter or light. The Epoque housing allows use to use the custom white balance menu option. Before taking a shot I would use this to white balance against my hand. This seemed to give me good colours.
Okazerk - on this trip I used the Epoque housing for about 60 dives with no problem at all. I know other people have reported issues with the housing leaking but I believe Epoque may have since made a change to it to prevent this happening. I'm very happy with the set up and think it represents excellent value.
Really nice video! What video equipment do you use please?

@@rogsvideos Thank you :) You bought a good camera a few years ago. I saw people with DSLR doing the white balance and hiving not so good videos!

It was at the end of a dive on Mioskon Island.

I don’t recall its exact location but we dove it on a trip from Triton Bay to Raja Ampat. I think it was in Triton Bay.
Is this place neptune fan sea at the begining??
I love the barramundi cod
WoW so many fish. Is the mobula place "pure pinacle"?
I’m afraid I don’t remember the names of the dive sites. This is footage that I took several years ago and have only just got round to editing.

Beautiful
Yeah, looks so beautiful especially its so rich in sea life. Love you Serua.
We're going next month to Polaris for dive lessons. Thanks for the video! Any thoughts on what to bring to the island? Water, snacks, beer, etc.?

Sorry but I am not sure, was this a sarcasm or a serious video.
Go, Janet!!! :)
The bay has quite a few ancient burial sites like that but I don't know who the people were or even how old the site is.
Amazing place, and the waterfall, wow!
Whose are the bodies at 0:57?
It's a species of Batfish, possibly a Pinnate Batfish but I'm not sure to be honest.
What fish is that from 1:15?
Amazing diversity...
Nice work...
Nice video. I miss it, and it's change quite a lot in 5 years.
Amazing adaptations to that environment...evolution is a marvellous thing!

Great video. Lucky you, dives once on Lankan but ! ... no mantas ;) Btw, what gear have you used ? compact cma or DSLR ?

did you use/suggest using a color correcting lens or a light?
how'd you video it underwater?

Did you have any leak issue with that waterproof case? Are you using Epoque case?
