I've always been attracted to girls wearing glasses. I pretty much only dated girls that wore glasses. I was into sports and played Football, basketball and baseball in high school and was quite popular as well. So I had no problem getting dates with the girls of my choosing. But as luck would have it the girl I met and fell in love with didn't wear glasses at all and had perfect vision. But she had been a Miss Georgia the year before I met her. My only regret was that she didn't wear glasses. I never let her know about that either. A few months after we were married we were at a party at friend of hers house. As it turned out the friend was one of the girls she met in the competition for Miss Georgia. She was very attractive young woman and even more attractive to be because she was wearing glasses. Apparently she had only recently gotten them and her glasses was the man talk amongst the women. It wasn't long before they were all trying on her glasses and snapping pictures of them wearing her glasses. I couldn't believe how good my wife looked wearing her friends glasses. When we got home later that night I brought up the glasses thing by asking her if I could see the picture of her wearing the glasses. My wife pulled her phone out of her purse and found the pictures of her wearing the glasses and handed me her phone. As I was looking at the pictures and complementing her on how nice she looked wearing glasses she admitted that when she was in high school she wanted glasses, but never needed them. And as I handed her phone back to her. She was looking at herself wearing glasses again in the pictures and said she thought she looked good in glasses also. She put her phone down and said that it was too bad that she didn't need glasses. That was all I needed to hear her say. I very quickly suggested that we could always get her a pair of glasses without a prescription. She said that she had considered doing that when she was in high school but she didn't want to wear "fake" glasses and be called out for it. I was about to let it drop when she said that she wouldn't mind wearing glasses. I asked her how well she was able to see wearing her friends glasses? She said that she never really paid any attention but she didn't think things were very blurry wearing them. Since her friend was wearing glasses for the first time, her glasses were almost certainly a very weak prescription. So I asked my wife if she would be interested in wearing glasses if the prescription was very weak and she was able to see wearing them? She wanted to know if that was even possible and I said I wasn't sure but I would do some checking to find out. I was doing my best in playing dumb. but I actually knew quite a bit about glasses and prescriptions. I waited several days and then during dinner I told my wife about talking with one of the women in my office that wears glasses and found out that by going on-line you can order glasses in any prescription without an actual prescription. So after dinner we sat down and the first thing we did was take a nice head shot o my wife. Then as she found glasses she thought might suite her we used the virtual try-on option to see how they looked on my wife. My wife was really enjoying herself try-on numerous pairs of glasses. She finally had it narrowed down to 5 pairs that she liked and Because the prices were so low I suggested that she should get at least two pairs anyway. She was in total agreement. She finally had the two she wanted and it was time to place her order. i told her that I was told that her eyes shouldn't have any problem seeing just fine wearing a -.75 SPH prescription. So we ordered her glasses in the -.75 SPH prescription. We were expecting them to arrive within 14 days. About 8 days later when I got home my wife was wearing one of the pairs we ordered for her. She was very excited and totally in love with her glasses. She said she could see perfect wearing them, but she could also notice a slight difference with them on and with them off. She wore the rest of the evening and only took them off once we were in bed. The next morning we both had jobs to go to. I had my office job and she had her receptionist job at a dental office to go to. She had to be at work earlier than me so she was ready to leave before me. Once she was finished with her makeup she put her glasses on and gave be a kiss good bye. She said she couldn't wait to show off her new glasses to her co-workers. When I got home from work she was already getting dinner going and still wearing her glasses. She said tat everyone was surprised to see her wearing glasses but said they really suited her well. She said that after only having wore them for a day she was already feeling very comfortable wearing them. I knew then that my wife had become a glasses wearer and I couldn't have been happier. She was rarely ever seen without glasses anymore. And a couple of months later as we were heading off to go shopping on a nice bright Saturday morning, she was driving, and the sun was shining straight into her glasses and I asked her why she wasn't wearing her sunglasses. She had been switching to her sunglasses previously when it was sunny out. Remember that we had only ordered her two pairs of regular glasses when we ordered her glasses and no prescription sunglasses. I really didn't know how much she would be wearing her glasses and if she was only wearing them occasionally she wouldn't really need glasses at all. So no need for prescription sunglasses. But she admitted that without her glasses things were now blurry so she didn't feel safe anymore wearing her non-prescription sunglasses. So as soon as we got home from shopping we sat down and ordered her a nice pair of prescription sunglasses. I told her I was sorry that she now actually needed glasses and that it was my fault. She said she didn't mind at all that actually needed glasses. She said that she was the one that made the decision to wear glasses fulltime and in doing so was most likely going to mean she would only have perfect vision when wearing glasses. That only made me love her even more.
