Okay, I have this INSANE THEORY that’s in the form of a DREAM I had Saturday night and it’s been driving my CRAZY so I had to get the dream that I had out here. Remember the mysterious ‘Unknown Sephiroth’ we met back in Remake in 2020 at the Edge of the Creation, giving us that riddle of seven seconds? What if…HE was the one who wanted Aerith to be ALIVE? What if he opened a doorway somehow to the alternate reality so Aerith could stay alive there? What if he’s the one wanting to even help SAVE Aerith and NOT kill her like the Rebirth Sephiroth has been doing like a crazed Terminator, jumping between worlds? I mean think of it: back in Remake, we did NOT see any kind of evilness or even a sort of manipulation from this mysterious Unknown Sephiroth like the one seen in Rebirth, even though Unknown Sephiroth did STOP Cloud from killing him with Omnislash with a smug, ‘Not yet’. I think he KNOWS something that we don’t. He KNOWS something far more menacing is out there that not even the devs themselves know about. I even noticed a hint of…CONERN in his eyes when he says, ‘Or world will become a part of it…one day. But I…will not end. Neither will I have you end’. I think that this Sephiroth senses something is NOT right with his world, that an even more powerful evil is out there that wishes to kill Jenova, and even him. What I’m even sensing from Unknown Sephiroth is he IS being HONEST, something we haven’t seen in Rebirth Sephiroth. And unlike the Sephiroth from Rebirth, Unknown Sephiroth is surprisingly CALM and not showing any malice AT ALL, which is a HUGE step from the Sephiroths we’ve seen, like the one in the illusion of the burning Nibelheim, the Loveless Avenue and even the one on the blocking the expressway before leading Unknown Sephiroth leads our heroes into the dark portal. I think this NEW version of Sephiroth {Edge of Creation Sephiroth}, is trying to get Cloud to help him and be his friend, but Cloud keeps refusing his offer. I also think that in Part 3, after we eradicate this new threat, whatever it is, we’ll kill Rebirth Sephiroth so his angry spirit can finally find peace within the Lifestream. My favorite character has suffered long enough in his miserable life and I think we have to actually kill him so that his spirit can rest in peace, after we get rid of this new threat. I even highly believe that the Sephiroth we saw at the end of Rebirth with Rufus is actually Remake Sephiroth. Also: remember that tagline: THE WORLD WILL BE SAVED, BUT WILL YOU? I think after all these years after watching that trailer, I’ve cracked the mystery behind that: What IF the tagline is talking about SEPHIROTH who we have to save and NOT Aerith? That mystery has been driving me up the walls ever since Rebirth first came out. I believe as well that the tagline is talking about Aerith, too, but I’m leaning heavily toward my favorite FFVII antagonist for this one! Can we even trust this NEW Unknown Sephiroth? And is he really on our side after what all his other versions have done? What IS Unknown Sephiroth’s TRUE goal and WHY is he wanting to help us? Does Cloud think that Unknown Sephiroth is the Rebirth Sephiroth? I ask because of how he was acting when Unknown Sephiroth helped him to his feet and he leaped away. Will Remake Sephiroth FINALLY convince Cloud to help him stop this unknown threat trying to destroy the Planet? Did JENOVA trap Unknown Sephiroth in the Edge of Creation and is he trying to find a way out? Is this Unknown Sephiroth our ‘sane pre-Nibelheim Sephiroth’ trapped in the Edge of Creation? Is this version of Sephiroth some form of fragment of Advent Children Sephiroth left behind after the movie, his ‘sane’ side? We’ll just have to see what the devs have spiced up in Part 3 to reveal all the answers! I also think that the Aerith that we see at the end of Rebirth is ADVENT CHILDREN Aerith, judging by the pink bow and braided brown ponytail! I was cheering seeing her show up! Unknown Sephiroth’s tried getting Cloud to help him out several times and failed, judging by the look of disppointment on his face back in Remake’s Edge of Creation scene, which was VERY surprising for me to see on my favorite character’s face, because he has NEVER displayed an emotion like that before! I also think THIS is what happened in Rebirth: OG AERITH: KILLED REMAKE AERITH: SUPER DEAD ADVENT CHILDREN AERITH: ALIVE

ok i know its hard to hear but the rebirth song uses the same motif as the original. almost every single song has been recreated in some way in these games. this is no exception. the motif is like - _ - ^^^^ which is the best way i can think to put it into text. note, lower note, repeat first note, higher, higher, higher, higher. it even sounds like it's in the same key In the original song, the motif is slow and steady with a heavy beating background, in the remake, it's kind of the opposite. the background is more melodic but intense, and the main theme is faster and intense, but if you REALLY listen to the notes, they are the same (the theme, not the background that's completely different)
