As for your question, if the agency is putting the fee on your model account that is a good sign, if they dont have model accounts thats a scam agency, if they ask you to pay the photographer directly its not necessarily a scam but could mean they dont believe in you enough to put the charge on your model account and thats a bad thing

For your questions everything depends Looks depends on total time of shoot and how quick the model can nail a look and how quick they can change looks. Sometimes its all beauty or all action and sometimes its a mix again depending on things like the model, the wardrobe, the location, etc. Rate depends on photographer experience, whether or not location fees are included, whether or not MUA or HAIR or Stylist are included or not, hours, looks expected, and editing, etc. Rate also heavily depends on who is benefiting the most out of the shoot and who's idea it was to shoot. If the photographer want to shoot on their schedule for their portfolio needs it tends to be free or paid (photog pays model and or MUA, Hair, Stylist). If the model wants to shoot on their schedule for their portfolio needs it tends to be paid (model pays photog and or MUA, Hair, Stylist). If everyone is just being creative and trying some new techniques, products, or equipment it tends to be free for everyone. Turnaround for paid shoots should be a couple weeks at most free test can take up to a month when not being submitted for publication, past that most photographers forget or send only a few shots and that sucks plus agents won't work with them again. Quick edits like lighting, color, and flyaways are typically included in both free and paid. For free you typically get all raw or lightly edited plus whatever ones the photographer wants to spend time editing and for paid typically at least one or two edited per look but again depending on rate and agreed to terms. Shoots can be anywhere from 1 hour to 6 hours depending on looks, rate, and especially changes - beauty tests tend to take longer to switch looks and thus the shoots overall takes longer. A quick test for portfolio with simple hair, makeup, and wardrobe changes can be done typically in 2 hours. Location shoots can add extra time for travel which may be with the team from a meeting place or individuals arriving to location on their own.

For relaxing the body I would suggest practicing some yoga to really connect with your body. Also breathing exercises, some models get tense and hold their breath or even hold the muscles flexed because of the nerves they are feeling on set. Another thing you could try is stretching and shaking out your body before and during shoots to loosen you up and warm up the muscles so they don't hold tension while your posing. When models hold a pose for a long time they can get tense. Shake it out. Practice your poses in a mirror. A lot of the time when you are tense in a photo it can be because you are doing a pose where you body is not supported enough so it is flexing. When you practice you can find ways to support your body weight without looking tense or flexed. Like in a floor pose putting the body weight on the back leg can allow the front leg to move easily in to several poses without tension. One more thing I would suggest is making a playlist that helps you to feel confident and calm while shooting and can help to get rid of any tension you may be holding in the body. But more importantly I suggest not worrying too much. If a client doesn't like how muscular you are in general then they are not the right client for you. There are literally millions of companies looking to market their brand/product/services with models and they are plenty that will LOVE your muscle tone. Don't change yourself, change who you are applying/submitting to.
