From Dallas. You can take the DART rail train from DFW International Airport to Downtown Dallas. There are a lot of hotels around the stadium and Texas Live is a must stop pre game for all matches. There is no train direct to the stadium from Dallas or Fort Worth which sucks. It will likely be shuttles like you mentioned. Feel free to AMA and I’ll respond as able to. Salud mi gente!

Atlanta Local Here. If you are planning to use MARTA for the World Cup, Make Sure you look for Hotels in Doraville, Decatur, Sandy Springs or College Park. Those four cities are further away from the main City Hotel Prices, while still being connected via MARTA. If you are willing to brave the Atlanta Traffic and drive in this city because you want to experience it, then stay further out, like 45 to 60 minutes away. My recommendations are Marietta, Buford, Douglasville, Fairburn, Stockbridge, Cumming (yes it's a real name, grow up), and Woodstock. All of those cities are right off of Interstates and have decent hotels and amenities (I grew up in Kennesaw, which is near Marrietta and Woodstock, and you won't be bored in those towns, plus there are lots of soccer fields in Cobb County if you wanna play pickup games). And if you really want to save money, the two furthest options I would recommend that are within 2 hours are Gainesville and Cartersville, but you'll be close to rural areas so there may not be things you need. If you want to see some things in Atlanta outside the city, Cartersville has a great Museum, as does Kennesaw, and if you drive 2.5 hours north east of Atlanta, there is a small Town that is built like a Bavarian Village called Helen. For the actual World Cup, be warned that the host cities might not be accurate to where the stadium actually is. "Boston" stadium for instance is actually Gillette Stadium in Foxborough MA, and you'd be much better off flying to Providence at that point. Same goes for Dallas (Actually Arlington), Kansas City, and New York among others

Happy New Year! I am watching how FIFA sells the tickets for the upcoming tournaments before the 2026 World Cup, and am reading up on how they did things in Qatar. Reinventing the wheel is hard and FIFA probably wouldn't start everything from scratch. My personal experience with Ticketmaster has not been bad, so I don't mind if FIFA sells through Ticketmaster. That said, I am just aiming for a seat, any seat....my standard is not very high, lol. But I kinda also want them to have a reserved section for the local people. I live close enough to one of the host cities. Your prediction for when the 2026 World Cup tickets would go on sale makes a lot of sense to me. Ideally, you want all of your products to do well and not cannibalize each other. So yeah, they are definitely focused on promoting the Club World Cup and the Gold cup now.

So, I went to the FAQ site for Qatar 2022, like you did in the video. I see that there were different categories of tickets....with a category reserved for residents of Qatar. Do you think FIFA would create a resident category as well for 2026?

Wow, OK. I am not a sports fan so I don't know if the way FIFA does things is similar to other sports governing bodies. If I understand this correctly, I can apply for tickets, or buy them first come first serve? I don't follow any particular team. I would like to attend 1 World Cup game because one city in my state is a host city and I am all about supporting/raising the profile of my state. I am not picky about the seats though....so I would be fine with them nose-bleed sections, lol.

Traveling in general these days....you just have to build in as much buffer as possible. I have had flights cancelled like 2 hours before takeoff time.
