Week 2 vlog, it was kinda slow at the salon, so lots of hair and home makeover stuff in the vlog this week. Shoutout to everyone who stayed till the end ❤ y’all 💋
I love this style of video !
Thank you ❤ you’ll see a lot more !!
1 client is better than zero … gratitude
Is your hair relaxed at the ends?
Keratin treatment and a little damage
lookin good!🎉
Thank you 😊
Is Design Essentials salon grade? I love their products! Great video 🙂
Yes, Design Essentials is salon-grade. The only product I'm not a fan of is their scalp serum. It's basically just straight alcohol and will dey out your scalp.
Her hair is too damaged and does not need to be colored. If anything she needs to start from scratch that’s what I think since she asked.💅🏾✌🏾🤷🏾♀️
I never asked all that 😂
💯✅ where you at!? I’ve been waiting this color for so long & has payed so much money & never came close 🤦🏽♀️
I'm in Washington state! 🌲🌲
Love the blonde but need nexus humectress conditioning treatment for that hair health.
She currently uses k18 and the redken acidic bonding concentrate both great for Repairing and rebuilding bonds
@@ItsJoys26 the nexus will restore softness and flow. No shade. Just love
@ thanks for the tip
Her hair will completely fall out
How long at this point and how long she’s leaving it in for
I didn't do her initial install so I Dont know how long she has had it in my guess is 2 months. And I told her she at least if she is stretching it has one more month.
The color looks good but I would have refused this client, her hair is extremely damaged . You asked so respect it
If her hair were to melt off I wouldn't have done it. Looming back I could've processed her ends a lot less. But other then that her hairbxouoe handle it. It's all about maintenance
The hair is severely damaged Not a fan But the color is amazing
Thx I guess 😅
opinion on growing natural hair with wash n go
As long as your washing your hair weekly and get it trimmed every 6 to 8 weeks wash n gos work. Only use shampoo, conditioner and a leave in and either foam or gel and a light clarifying shampoo once a month
I love the blonde!
Thank you 💗💗💗
I didnt see the inspo pic? But it loks great considering it was blue!!
I forgot to include it 🙈 and thank you 😊
Wow. Wow. Wow. I want it. Noooooooooow!!😂❤❤
I know right sameee!!
The trim wasn't enough. She needs a break from coloring, and work on her hair health..
Yea we for sure could’ve take a break for her previous bleached her I used 6v and her new growth ten to preserve the integrity of her hair.
I had blonde I won’t do it again lol yes I had fun with it buttttt it’s just to drying for my hair I wanna stay in the brown hair family. Like the chestnut, chocolates or caramel colors💕💕💕great video
Thank you and blonde is a very high maintenance hair color I had it before two and my lifestyle just couldn’t handle it
Beautiful
Thank you 💗✨
Stunnnnning
Thank you 😊
The color looked good but her hair health didn’t.
There’s so much new hair technology now days that allows us to have fun with our hair and we did trim it at the end
I like that❤❤ color.
Thank you 💗✨
Ppl should experiment with wigs when thru desire color. Your work is amazing though! The high and low lights look incredible!
Thank you so much! I always love the idea of playing with wigs, but nothing beats the feel of real hair, right?
@@ItsJoys26 i mean if you want to damage your real hair, sure. I love to change my hair color, so I have to wear a wig because I think tf not. Will not be losing my hair again from dying it
So does it remain straight after washing ….I used gk keratin
Yes it does, it still has a lil kink to it, it’s almost yaki straight
I like this format. You’re doing good. The lights in the photo looked less than what you gave her. You’re a professional , so don’t worry
Thank you for the reassurance, 💗🫶🏾I always feel like I’m doing something wrong when things don’t go as planned. And I’m happy your liking the content
Just beautiful!😊
Thank you!! 💕
Her hair is damaged
Thanks for pointing that out the minute bleach, color or heat touch your hair yes your damaging it but there are so many products out that that allow you to still have healthy hair.
Good job 🎉excellent transitions,
Awww thank you 🫶🏾💗
Would love to book
Really ?? Would love to have you
Where r u located
Seattle Washington
My goal is to go to the hairdresser quarterly - So I should put conditioner on dry hair then
I would recommend washing your hair weekly and if your hair feels dry a leave in conditioner is my go too, is Mizani Miracle Milk.
I never realized so many ppl did their hair at home
Yeah more people have salon trauma and it’s hard trusting someone new with your hair.
Don’t have a perm?
No in this video I had no chemical changes to my hair. All natural
Any help for Alopecia? Already seeing a dermatologist. Thx
@@JaniceHylton I would recommend seeing a trichologist that specializes in hair loss.
@@ItsJoys26 thx
Lol. Thx
1st Use an oil infused shampoo and conditioner, 2nd change all of hair tools from plastic to bamboo or wooden hair tools, 3rd deep condition your hair at least once a month with oil ( tip is dont wash it out just put enough in to coat your hair when you steam it). 4th, blow dry your hair on cool to close your hair cuticle than apply a dime size amount of butter in your hair than blow dry on medium than style as you wish.
I’ve never heard of the plastic or bamboo tools I’ll have to look into that and if you want dry hair then yes to the butter. If you want hydrated hair then no butter 🧈
@ItsJoys26 I don't think you read what I said correctly, the butter is seal the oil in after you steam your hair. That's why I said to only put enough oil in to coat your hair when you steam it don't wash it out and blow dry your hair on cool . To to close your hair cuticle afte that part your hair in 4 sections and only put dime size amount of hair butter in each section. Then proceed to blow dry your hair on medium heat. In the 1800s all the women used was wooden combs it stimulates hair growth less breakage and split ends. Why do think they have waist length hair.
@ oils and butters seal out hydration, the best thing to use is a well formulated leave in conditioner.
@ItsJoys26 no ,🤣 they don't if you use it correctly the butter will seal the moisture in and keep it hydrated, the butter will protect hair from outside elements so your hair won't dry out .
@@lashellanderson7773 water is the only thing that hydrates your hair oil and water don’t mix, oil literally repels yo ur hairs moisture ask any licensed cosmologist, or trichologist. The only people who need oils and those are oils that are well formulated not beauty supply oils are people who straighten, have color or have bleach in their hair if your natural and don’t do any of these you don’t need it
What is your opinion of OurX?
I personally haven’t used it. I definitely would try their detox cleanse, intense conditioning complex and their leave in according to their ingredients list, but I wouldn’t touch their scalp serum the ingredient list includes ammonia, coconut and sunflower oil which aids in the production of dandruff.
Okay thank you, I will stick to what you have recommended. My scalp is still healing from damage done by braiders using edge control on me for a long time and wanted a serum that will make it less dry, I have dry scalp issues and got eczema on it so says my dermatologist, so although I try maintain my hair in blown out state or in silk presses, I am still recovering from a scalp issue. I don’t oil or butter my hair, just leave in conditioner and a hair serum, and still use medicated shampoo, so although my scalp is slowly recovering, my hair is getting drier, unfortunately. I wash weekly. Also deep condition every washday. I thought a scalp serum might help with the dryness, especially in winter months. Thanks for your help.
@ I would use matrix tension reliever or mazani scalp serum, those are what I use for my clients and it’s actually meant to go on the scalp. I’m sorry you’re dealing with all of that. Washing your hair once a is really amazing and once your done treating your scalp you can focus on getting your hair more hydrated.
I don’t agree with this take you sounded really biased. Yes some black hair company’s can be drying but so can white hair company’s, and both have chemists. Also that Amika hydrorush line has isopropyl alcohol in the mask and leave in, it literally dried my hair out until I realised. And its Israeli funded, therefore supporting a genocide. And the no oils and butters has damaged alot of lady’s hair following the bandwagon. Anyways do your own research guys before committing to an opinion.
Thanks for your take on it. I see multiple clients with different hair types and I never said all white companies are good I said the narrative that is presented to black woman that only products targeted towards black women work for our hair. I was emphasizing using well formulated products and I also mentioned black owned brands I recommend. Not every product is going to work for everyone, these are a couple that I recommend and I recommend others Amika happens to be one that works well on my hair.
