Well, I am a member of the yacht club.. and love every minute of it! Nothing nails old school muscle more than a older classic r/t challenger 6 speed in these modern times!

@@jeremysgarage498 hate to break it to you but that's not an older classic one. I'm right with you the older ones are nice. But it ends there.

@@hunterparison4526 it is an "older" classic of the modern challenger era, it is a 2011 which is pre-face lift of the 15' model year and up. Yes it's a newer car, yes it's already almost 15 years old so not to many years from now it will literally become a classic 😂. And if you like the original 70' challenger I don't see how you could not like these challengers. But to each their own 🤷‍♂️😁

@@jeremysgarage498 You're all about age. Just cuz my 02 Dodge ram 1500 has 200k+ miles doesn't mean it's a classic car. Square body's are classic, 80s, and 70s.I don't even consider 90s to be classic cars. Yes Chrysler kept the Dodge similar body style as a classic but in the end they are still too heavy to be fast and fun. When it comes to bang for your buck.

@@hunterparison4526 I think you are wrong, it's a classic because it's literally a "classic r/t" package lol. I'm not saying I think it's literally a classic. And as far as a older challenger that can be picked up for like 13k now and 2k in a cam swap and then your 15k budget muscle car will outrun 10 speed gt mustangs and scat packs. Scat packs very easily at that. And yes it's been done check out "trackpackrt" on here. Anyone who makes fun of a challengers weight has never driven one because they hide the weight very well. My challenger handles better than my C5 Corvette stock for stock.

Hopefully soon! Gotta get the ECU out today or tomorrow and send it off. Going to do a mail order tune until I get the stall and rear diff in then I'll hit the Dyno.

Regular shocks are great. This kit is a great cheap way of doing it .. but looking back now .. Id rather have stuck on Bilstein 4600 shocks all around and changed the factory rear coil springs for Moog hd/z71 replacements!

They are pretty universal, lol. I don't even like them but it protects the leather wrapped wheel from my sweaty ass hand when driving

They are hard plastic-y for sure but I actually prefer them over the 15 & up. Being that they actually have styling cues from the original challenger and despite the hard plastics they actually held up great. Seats and dash, door panels all look brand new still at 13 years old

@@jeremysgarage498not a mopar guy but cant agree the interior on the new cars are pretty nice even the cloth seats are comfortable

@@03kwam65 it is nice for sure, but my challenger is just a toy that gets drove occasionally so the pre 2014 was a steal compared to the 15 and up, also a well optioned car being the 6spd with super track pack option. It's fun to cruise around in with the old school muscle car vibes.

These coolers have no way to "self bleed" air pockets, so if you run them down you may only utilize half of your cooler.. Trucool brand also instructs you to run it the way that I have mine.

I think with maintenance it will be fine. I believe the transfer cases and front differentials could be subjected to more wear over the years. But I wouldn't let it stop you from getting an AWD equipped Tahoe/Yukon if that's the one that you wanted.

Are you having issues getting them off the center link / drag link or the steering box / idler bracket

Once I ratchet strapped the center link to the front cross frame section I was able to beat the snot out of it and it finally broke free.. but no other methods worked. I applied heat but not a whole lot because I did not want to damage the inner tie rods.

Sorry man, still trying to figure recording and editing out. And no ratchet strap was tied to the light bar, it was tied from the center link to the front cross member section for a better blow with the hammer. If you have someone helping you, you can probably just have them pry down on the center link with a pry bar while you hammer.

The frame and bed, probably lol. Wheels will be fine for a few years with that implement paint. But, it's a rusty turd so it still looks better than before for dirt cheap and an hour lol.
