champ pc player here, your gunskill and game sense get you kills and these things are almost identical across operators as their gadgets don't have much of an effect. capitao doesn't have a amazing weapons but he has a great ability. one tip i can give is to not run the lmg as the movement penalty is not worth the ammo and the ttk is almost identical. most likely you are changing your playstyle due to the way you interpret how you use capitao.

I'm gonna be honest bro, capitao is a fantastic operator with great play potential, lots of utility, an lmg that you don't have to reload with no recoil, and a 3 speed. Dude is a perfect recipe. From what I've seen, you're just not super fantastic at the game. Maybe you weren't at your peak when trying out this operator. I'm a diamond player and I use capitao all the time.

I would assume the drop came more from the mindset to be honest, Ace and Blackbeard were your comfort picks so you performed better. It's totally possible that you went into this thinking Cap is a bad op and that affected your gameplay, especially if you then start losing rounds one after another. But from the deaths/bad rounds you showed it was mainly due to gunplay and had barely anything to do with his gadget, which could've happend with every operator. Personally I think he's massively underrated. His loadout is very balanced, you can pick basically any combination of Primary, Secondary and Secondary Gadget (personally I prefer LMG, Gonne-6 and EMPs, if I need it for a hardbreaching teammate). Also something I would recommend is, you have an instant deploying impact smoke launcher, don't smoke your own feet, smoke between yourself and the enemy instead. Another fun trick which I'm actually not sure if it still works is shooting the smoke at the top of a doorframe, making it so the defender have to crouch under it. The smoke effect will look like you can see through on crouch height, but if you're inside it you're basically blind, creating sort of a one-way angle for yourself. edit: lot of yapping i know

Take advantage of the shooting range. Make sure you have the laser attachment and watch better players play.

Uh No. Thew Crew 1 (R.I.P) and TC2 are way better in my opinion. Also Forza Horizon 4 & Forza Horizion 5 feel more alive and are fun to race in. TCM's world is dead and smaller than TC1 & TC2. I only played the closed beta for a cuple of hours and I never touched it again.

You should've seen his MP5 with an ACOG and his frisbies having invisibility when hugging the ceiling! Like jesus it was a nightmare fighting against him! Still I think this state of nerfing him is too much cuz I also used him fairly in the past

Valid points but I'd take a good lesion rather than a good oryx on my team. Oryx still needs a lot of work to be able to compete with the better ops.

the only use I've found for oryx is the destructibility in his dash. some wood types in the game are very strong and cannot be destroyed quickly with a shotgun or impact grenades. the bar tops on top floor kafe are comprised of this kind of wood, and an oryx dash is the quickest way to open them up. other than destroying furniture, I personally cannot justify bringing him. If you play around hatches vaulting could be of use, but I don't have much experience with this kind of play style.

Nice video with some good points being mentioned. Though the issue with Oryx I see from playing in both ranked and a comp environment is more-so a mixture of lack of useful utility, competition with roaming and he is countered by the majority of counter-roaming ops like Cav is. Oryx's utility is my biggest issue with him is just the utility though. Being able to jump up hatches works and is pretty useful depending on the map size. But the running through walls is just a gimmick, since rotates can be done safely with impacts or shotguns. Though it is instant, you could just get locked on due to how loud and the animation you're stuck in for the brief bit of time after running through a wall.
