Vinnie is greatest drummer of all time
When I Get Grown I Wanna Play Drum's Like Vinnie Coliauta. 🤣😂😅🤗😜🤗
Great song😂
Grande Sting con un batterista così
WAY TOO MUCH on the string pizzicato at the end of the piece.
My initial comment was going to be to rave about Steve, but we cannot leave Paul out of the equation even for a breath. This music takes me back. My ears plead for more. Beautiful LP guitar for one, with a beautiful tone for two, and the extremely beautiful chord progression for three. Coupled with this cooler than fuck drum riff that's played with deep, bottom corner-of-the-pocket groove. Ear meth. Jesus may or may not save, but this groove undeniably scores on the rebound. This kind of instrumental creativity is sorely missed in most, more recently created popular music. Steve Gadd's chops and the groove he lays down here, along with the chord progression and the ingeniously thought-provoking lyrics make this song one that will be listened to for centuries to come. Two extremely highly-skilled musicians come together to create this masterpiece. Beautiful...
RIM shot is too much
MARAVILLA!!!!!
Love the broken ride cymbal
Is that the version that ended up on the record? Or a slightly different one? Anyway, great music, great drummer.
I was introduced to this song and project whilst traveling by train through Ukraine in the early 1990s. As I hear this song now, so so many years later, I reflect back to what I saw when first listening to Sumner’s tunes. I remember the fields passing amongst the small bodies of water. And the two lovers hidden amongst the weeds who were witnessed only by us, the bored passengers passing time as life passed by. The beats of this tune correlated with the rhythmic pattern the moving train played. It was a delight to hear then, as it is now. Gorgeous song.❤
Yes and those fills from David Sancious, which never made it to the final on the album
1 of a kind,...: Vinnie!!! I see those smiles. Ox
Now Steve Gadd is working with David Gilmour, he's not done yet.
(((❤))) LIMA - PERÚ
5/4 bar
Didn't know this version. So great!!!
So did I ...Last 20 times
Try to cover on drums....but)))))))))))😉
The tune has this over-arching relaxing flow on top… yet Vinnie is driving it so hard. What a great feel. It just never gets old.

Someone know what models are the toms mics?
Why has this VHS release never been released on DVD or Bluray?
Insane groove
Loved Vinnie's work with Zappa
Just beautiful 🎶❤
This is the only way For people every day For every Girl and Boy, To fill their hearts with joy.
Wonder how many people actually come to watch this purely for Steve Gadd? Because I did.

This is the ''fuck around have fun practice '' video. The REAL video was shot hours later
Brasil Rio de Janeiro Sou de 1972 Sting e banda. Que musicalidade, que toque sutil nos instrumentos fluindo esse som lindo a nos acalentar.
Who is the keyboardist?
So many shades and nuances 😮
Vinnie used to be a client that just turned into a buddy after a while, and I remember when he got the Sting gig... Ran into him looking at a car for his wife, at the time, and he was sharing how ecstatic he was getting that gig... Vinnie is just next level talent
Did they buy a 5 cylinder with four valves per cylinder and variable timing?
@@TheMICMusicInspirationChannel ha!
Vinnie is just a friggin beast. Yikes! 🥹🙃🫠
Este disco lo presentó en Rosario, Argentina; enterito y de forma impecable! Gracias Sting y banda por la belleza!
Mind blowing!!!
Awesome! Magnifique! Bellissimo! The best from Sting!❤👏🙏
The fact that this recording is a "rough track" is astounding! But it's a blueprint of what would become the studio masterpiece puts it on par as a masterpiece of it's own. It's like a slightly looser version of what it would become. Man, do I love this era of Sting.
L0ve the 5 !!!!
This performance should be called 50 ways to keep a Les Paul in tune😢
Drumming here is fantastic but i just cant understand the kick drum attack for second verse, Totally unnecessary and lousy placement. Killed the vibe.
To assemble that much talent just to play forgettable elevator music.
This should have been called "Five Days."
David Sancious was always one of my favorite keyboard players. Hall of Famer, too.
HOLY GRAIL POCKET.
Vinnie plays this like it's nothing.
These dudes are the epitome of NY guys in LA - telling everyone where they are from even though literally nobody asked.
Man. Never read a more wrong statement in my life. 😂😂😂
