He was great in the Walton's, just as Hank Williams Jr,and he was wonderful,in 1989 cable movie, Glory Glory,oh and he did a Christmas TV , movie The Music Box; Richard Thomas seems to be a nice guy on and off screen,I guess all in all ACTING is a risky business!

If you would had stayed on the show and got a cpa or used an investment company, you'd be set for life.....PLEASE tell me you bought a home/ land in California before you foolishly left the show

If you got typecasted by your fifth year and offers suffered...why leave a really good job? It's narcissism, right? You thought you were much more talented than tv allowed......while, I'm watching the episode about the mule race and I was taken with your bad acting, ESPECIALLY in scenes with Ralph. He had a realism and he was a NATURAL while you sound like you were reading cue cards on the fourth wall. I will say this, tho. You weren't HORRENDOUS like the rest of the kids. Talk about BAD ACTING...whew! Sorry to be rude and I'm sure I would have done the same thing. Falling into the pond after staring at my reflection for too long

I really do appreciate these interviews. I first started watching The Waltons in June 2022 and that was my introduction to Richard Thomas. Of course he has a certain character on the series. Thankfully because of these interviews I get to learn of Richard Thomas the person.

Richard is so well-spoken, so funny, such a precious human, makes the world and our lives so much more meaningful.
