ERTL of Sodor Custom Showcase: Railway Series Blue Donald & Douglas By ED's Trainz
I commissioned ED's Trainz to do these customs of Donald and Douglas in blue as per the original Railway Series illustraions following their appearance in Branch Line Engines. Both of these look great and photograph very well. Some history on the engines as characters in the Railway Series and TV series, as well as comparing the custom models to their original ERTL counterparts. Enjoy!

My Thomas series only deals with characters from series one two three and four the small railway engines will not be in my series because my series only deals with characters from series one two three and four and Donald and Douglas are going to be black not blue I mean you do you but I'm going to do it my way

I think the twins were going to have blue paint but Britt and David thought it could be confusing to kids my evidence is the episode “break van” as Douglas is smashing the spiteful break van his front wheels turn showing blue paint

Great custom video man these customs of blue Donald and Douglas our amazing well I do prefer Donald and Douglas in Black instead of blue because it makes them look more unique I do enjoy seeing Customs like these even though I prefer them in Black but these are amazing Customs Ed did a pretty great job can't wait to see his next video.

@@kremestation80 Yes. There are seven traveling Thomas engines, one of which is steam powered (and stays on the east coast) and the rest of which are dummies. (not powered) There is only one Percy, also a dummy.
