Your uncle sounds like a cool guy, and we’d love to visit the Autobahn someday! The 5 and 3 Series are definitely two different beasts. We sell a lot of E46s-ZHPs, 330s, you name it. We just swapped a 6MT into an automatic ZHP coupe, which deserves the 6-speed manual! Planning to list that one soon too. Convertibles with automatics are perfect for cruising, but body style, drivetrain (RWD or AWD), transmission type (AT or MT)… they all drive differently, and it really depends on what you’re after-wagons, sedans, coupes, or convertibles, with different packages and options. Small details make a big difference in each car’s feel, and the E46 has tons of options. Then there’s this E39 with an automatic-it’s a fantastic daily driver for anyone wanting that extra touch of luxury that the E46 doesn’t quite offer. This 5 Series represents the top of the luxury E39 line, and even with an automatic, it’s no slouch.This 540i M Sport feels like the pinnacle for the E39 (non-M5)!
