I have had a set of these on my HZJ105 for a bit over 2 years now and when they were working I would have told you that they were great! Unfortunately after 2 years of use they need a rebuild and I just found out that they aren't rebuildable so they need to go in the bin. In my opinion that is piss poor, I'll go buy a new set of shocks but I will go buy something good this time and rest assured I will be telling anyone who will listen what I think of Drivetech and their Enduro Pro shock absorbers.👎

Great video, thanks for sharing. After installing the strut spacer don't you also need to increase the thickness of the Lower Control Arm Bump Stop to ensure that you do not bottom out the shock? If so, how can you determine where the shock bottom is now to ensure that larger lower control arm bump stop is big enough? Thanks in advance.

If a top hat spacer is fitted above the strut, to achieve the aforesaid "lift", then the static equilibrium point would still shift down. But would the strut's extended length also cause the down travel to increase beyond the previous droop limit. Would this mean that the wheel travel in this case is not conserved and has increased? (by an amount equal to spacer thickness) ? Thanks for the video and effort in explaining it practically.

I have a 2021 9 month hilux I purchased the identical bonnet gas struts and fitted them my issue is that the strut on the right hand side (passenger)is hitting on the axu fuse box did you have to move yours ??

it is not that EZ i went and got these and followed the directions and watched the video I tried all wkend and couldnt get them on ... as soon as u try to slide them in the end comes off the track or the other side you once you get it half way winding the spring or u get them in place in the bottom track but cant get the top in even after you cut them down probably one of the most annoying projects ive tried to do and the only I have to actually give up on ... If you find urself having to take apart the front swing arm and all that you might as well just get a real leveling kit instead since its the same amount of labor anyway and is probably fast and ez to do if your gonna take it apart anyway

okey so i bought this product and this doesn't work! the Accessory Fuse Box is in the way!! In the video at 2:00 its there and at 2:05 its gone!! Where the FFFF did it go??? where did you move it to?

So when you fitted the strut to the passenger side, in the vid there’s a black box, electrical I’m guessing as your actually fitting the strut, when you lift the bonnet back up that box isn’t in the shot, where did that get moved to as I’m guessing the bonnet wouldn’t shut properly as that box would of been in the way of the strut.

I have the current (2021) model Hilux it’s the adaptive cruise control sensor in the front badge. Does this rival bumper fit it? If not, when will you have a version that will fit? I understand that you were waiting on ADR Approval.

Is the ride stiffer with the spacer lift?

I think I am being ripped off. I am getting a snorkel fitted to my BT50 next week and have been quoted 3 hours to fit it. This bloke did it in 7 minutes!

Safari are the goods!!! DON'T EVER BUY A SHERPA 4x4 SNORKEL (OR WINCH). They sell you actual $29 Alibaba Snorkels for $350 - $400 ( I can validate this) . If I can save just 1 person from these shams, Ive done my job. Scintex are the biggest scam company in Aus.

I see a lot of screws protruding. Is there a risk of breaking them? Other companies have them bolts more protected.

Do your front and rear bars accommodate parking sensors etc?

Good looking winch and bar combo. Are the winches warranteed against water ingress from river crossings etc ?

i love this bar but there still a chance to hit a roos in the middle of engine bay as it is no protection like normal bullbars.. is it for style only?

The service section that you have added is awesome as I have a 2009 hilux and Toyota won’t service my 4WD if they are still fitted when I drop it off for a service and now they won’t balance and wheel alignment because they are after market wheels so I have to take my plates off and get wheel alignment and balance at a different shop and I have looked at the paperwork for the service and I have a wheel and balance done on my 4wd and amount for it being done but was told and confirmed it wasn’t when I went to a tyre shop to have it done.

Cut half inch steel plate with plasma cutter fit profile of top front strut plate. Lifted front end, reset toe in, works perfect. Changed longer top strut plate bolts. 👍🏻👌🏻

Does the rival bar include that lower plate (bash plate) as in the video or is that seperarate (part of underbody armour)?
