Finally another review on this. Thank you.
@@j.walker7990 And thank you for watching.
Funny I was looking at the glycine combat as well as the cronos. Should I get the Cronos or save up for that same Glycine?
I would say save up for Glycine if the style, the difference in size and the price is no issue. Sure, Cronos is a great watch for its budget and of a good quality for sure, but you get more from Glycine. Swiss made, the bezel of a much better quality, 300m water resistance rating that you can trust, better in my opinion gold color tint, a brand with history but relatively affordable. But the price is twice as much or even a bit more. FYI, if you decide to go with Glycine, that particular model, I found the best price directly from Glycine com.
How did you brush the bracelet? It's perfect! It's looking awesome man
Thank you. I used the back side of a kitchen sponge. You know, the scratchy side that is usually green colored. Just make sure you brush the bracelet in one direction and in as straight as possible movements so that the brushing lines are nice and straight. It's very easy.
Ive got the pepsi combat 41 and its my favorite gada / beater watch.
Glycine combat series are very good value watches.
I own this SKX009K watch as well. It’s a classic and legendary Seiko diver for sure 👍🏻💯🤿
I agree. I don't think it will ever leave my collection.
A good dial of 36 mm in size for a 7 year old child not for a grown man..
@@RicardoValdes-r6w Thanks for watching.
Nice review and watch however with respect to you and respectful constructive criticism please put more vivid energy into how you can speak at a better flow and level as a man because unfortunately is coming out across quite WEAK..!! Good higher energy and vibe with a better lively approach next time if you choose to try again, hearing it sounds more like reading to a 3 year old child from a book to put the child to sleep … 😒
@@RicardoValdes-r6w I'll definitely work on that. It's very new to me. So, hopefully, it will improve with time. Although, it might increase the audience if my videos are used for putting kids to sleep haha. Thank you for watching.
I just got mine. I found the the adjustment slider is fine if you don't tighten down the screw so it's head is a little pronounced. Then it will add enough friction that the slider will stay where you put it.
@@Kr00zA Interesting. Let me know how you like the watch after you wear it for some time!
@@United_EDC Oh I can already tell it will be my everyday watch. It looks good and fits well. And it's NH35 movement isn't going to cause me any issues. The only things I didn't like and so corrected... 1) The corners of the clasp are very sharp. So I rounded the points with a small jewellery file. 2) The high polish on the sides of the case and clasp didn't really suit the watch. So a light rubbing with some fine glass paper sorted that out.
@@Kr00zA I'm glad you like it. I think mine is a slightly different version as I only saw a previous version with Seiko movement. The new model has only 2 options - either PT5000 or SW200 if I'm not mistaken. Enjoy!
I have the blue one, a brilliant little knife 😊
@@marklawrence855 Agreed 👍🏻. I carried it for a long time. I had 3, but gifted one to a friend.
For the money you invest under $200.00 It should last between 3 to 5 years. The movement is questionable. The Seiko NR 61 would have been a much better gamble. A quartz would have been a better gamble. So just like a Timex wear it a couple of years and through it away!😊
@@jamesmustin7289 I've heard more good things about PT5000 movement than bad. This is my first experience and I hope it will last. The similar swiss movement can last for quite long, for example, Glycine Combat Sub with SW200. The reason I chose this is actually, because PT5000 or SW200 movements allowed the case to be made that slim. And I like slim cases. China does good job in some areas these days. Plus, China or not, 28,800 high beat movement is still nice to have if you are into mechanical watches. And it's very accurate, at least for now.
Thanks for the review, it seems that Glycine has now brushed the center of the bracelet which is a good thing edit: you said you brushed it yourself, sorry. good job doing that
@@daddykong6388 Thank you for watching. That's nice to hear. If I buy another one, I won't need to brush it myself again!
All sound is coming from the left. I recommend checking the sound with headphones yourself before uploading. It is very distracting, and uncomfortable to listen to (with headphones). Otherwise, cool video! EDIT: None of the other videos have this problem, it's just this one.
@@masuz3972 Thank you for watching and the feedback. I don't know why that happened as I used the same mic, but I'll keep that in mind for my next videos.
@@masuz3972 I've found out the problem. For some reason my mic was recording in a stereo mode. I'll need to keep it in mono mode since I use only 1 mic. Thanks again for pointing it out.
@@United_EDC Glad you found it! No problem mate

Would you prefer more this over the San Martin 36 mm Explorer or the baltany 36 mm?
@@vinba7402 Yes. When I was searching for one, I compared almost all options. There are a few reasons: look - I like Cronos more, price - San Martin and Baltany with SW200 cost more than Cronos, while Cronos offer even cheaper version with PT5000, basically the same movement, case thickness - while San Martin is of the same thickness, Baltany is thicker than the other two. So, I chose Cronos.
@@United_EDCil baltany mi sembra più bello però !magari mi sbaglio,,io ho un super clone del Explorer un Rolex clean factory ,,una bomba dj orologio, però voglio prendere anche uno di questi, volevo appunto prendere il baltany !!
@@FrancescoAcri-ct1ro There is nothing wrong with Baltany. I chose Cronos because I like it more for specs and looks. It depends on personal preference. Let me know which one you end up buying. Thank you for watching.
Cronos L6032 with PT5000 is stunning, I have had this a couple of years now
@@andrebann1620 Agreed. I like mine too.
Would you choose this over the Octopus Kraken Explorer?
@@ruedalejo2562 They are almost identical from what I saw. Their new version is also very slim with PT5000 movement. Probably made in the same factory. But I like Cronos name and logo more. So yes, I would choose this over Octupus Kraken. But if I wanted a different colored dial, then Octupus Kraken would be my choice, since there is more than one color available.
Nice looking watch. Looking forward for more reviews!

Great watch. I have had 007 then sold it. Few years later bought 009 and again sold it. And now I am thinking of buying it again. This watch really pisses me off because of that but at the same time I keep coming back to it.
That's interesting. What are your likes and dislikes about this watch?
@@United_EDC That is the thing. No particular dislikes (maybe just one which is the lack of handwinding). I love it for it's robustness and the look. I think I just get bored with it after some time, so I sell it and then immediately regret it.
@@kacperperkowski6251 Oh, I see. Next time you buy it, put it in a drawer and pretend you sold it until next time you want it to wear 😁.
@@United_EDC Totally! Will definitely pull a trigger on 007 this time. Ohh I also forgot that I had 013 as well. Also sold it. I should also have kept it as they are going for crazy prices right now. Anyway. Great video. Looking forward for more of your EDC reviews.
@@kacperperkowski6251 I had always wanted 013, but when I finally had a chance to get it, I didn't buy it. And I don't know why. Thank you, I'm working on my next video.
