Do y’all still play glc even if it isn’t the first Tuesday of every month? I wanted to play some more glc if possible
We generally only play GLC once a month, most team members usually focus on the standard format.
More info on the original fighting build: th-cam.com/video/2t06FqJ6dmA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Zm7lMmoimZyggxLs
Awesome to see more people cooking with the engine and fun to see it in action
Okidogi VMax is just too good! Loved how straight forward your list was but wanted some more options, thought Tusk would work well due to the double colorless energy and dove into the full Ancient Package. Need to clean up the decklist, can’t believe I forgot Penny and there’s no need for Professors Letter. I did win R1 by mill, for all the Tusk believers!
@@chrichoq okidogi vmax 😂
Love to see fresh takes on GLC decks, hopefully more people cook up interesting stuff like this
Great to see someone trying to make the Single Strike mechanic work! So unfortunate that Houndoom can't get Impact Energy with its ability, I feel like the deck would be viable with even just one more target for Houndoom.
Nice video! I like the overlay and the commentary
Whats your video rig setup? Would love to film some matches at our locals. Thanks!
I think TH-cam deleted my original reply to you because I included the Amazon link, but I use a NEEWER table mount for the camera which is a GoPro Hero 11 Black
Huge fan of the content! Live glc content.
Awesome content, keep it comin!
Timer ball text reads: flip 2 tails. 😅😅😅
Dang, that buzzwhole sac was brutal, should’ve gave up the beautifly
when do y'all host these tournaments ?
The first Tuesday of every month!
Love to discover new GLC channels 😂. BTW, Wobbufett would hit for 0 dmg on Torterra with Leavanny on the bench, right?
Welcome, glad to have you! With the Bide Barricade ability, when Wobbuffet is in the active all non-Psychic Pokemon do not have abilitues. Therefore, Leavanny's ability is turned off and Torterra will take damage as normal.
@@ComebackMechsyou're totally right. I wish I could come up with "I was testing you" but I really forgot it 😅
Why leavanny over kricketune isn’t swelling tune just better & easier (stage 1)?
Health is better vs shred attacks because it is an "effect" that can't be ignored like dmg reduction, but dmg reduction is better if you plan on getting hit multiple times. For example let's look at Shiftry (150HP) with a Luxurious Cape (+100HP). Against a single attack that does 290+ dmg they are effectively the same (again the exception is a shred attack). However each attack would require an extra 40dmg vs a target protected by Leavanny 2 attacks vs Kricketune (Shiftry has 290HP) 150dmg + 150dmg = 300dmg 2 attacks vs Leavanny (Shiftry has 250HP) 150dmg + 150dmg - 40dmg - 40dmg 110dmg + 110dmg = 220dmg
when kricketune dies or has its ability removed via something like wobb or hex maniac you lose the hp and can be knocked out if that extra was all that was keeping it alive
Btw. Tulip is 4 not 5
Shout out to extra videos!!!
Steve drew 5 off the Marnie
Fantastic attention to detail, good catch! We have stolen his 60, cut the fifth card he drew in half and an asterisk has been added to his undefeated streak.
@@ComebackMechsas a professor I think this should be the official Play! Pokemon ruling (joke in case it wasn't clear)
I love your narration and the quality of the video! Keep up the excellent work!
Insane game! What a nailbiter. Another great upload from you guys 🔥
Was thinking about a Coin Flip deck mainly with Pogo Zard & Turkoal from SVI. Interesting to see some of these other coin flip fire cards tho 👀🔥
I didn't even think about that Turkoal! The Rapidash is just too good with Vinctini.
Omg GLC!!!!!!
Item lock too good.
Dope vid
Glad to see more videos besides the finals coming out!! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
"medium voltage current"
Great deck list - excited to try it out!
Great production. You got a sub from me
great video, appreciate the production quality and editing!
Very fun!! Can’t wait to see more… maybe more than once a month 👀👀👀
Cody commentating on himself adds a whole new level to the Spiderman meme
watching this to see who won this month's tournament was more invigorating than watching the actual election
This channel is going to be HUGE!
18:56 misplay here, rescue stretcher has to be 3 pokemon, not up to 3. great video regardless, looking forward to more! edit: this is incorrect!
Mathew only has two Pokémon in the discard when he plays Rescue Stretcher, therefore he fulfills as much as he can and can shuffle only two back in, as you could with pre-SV Super Rod, or the likes of Lusamine or Mt Coronet. Glad you enjoyed the video!
@@ComebackMechs ohhh i realized how i got it mixed up. i was thinking about how if you have 3 pokemon in discard you have to shuffle 3 and can't choose less because it doesn't say "up to."
Fantastic video - engaging commentary and great editing. Looking forward to more!
Nice commentary
Im big on no proxies but I understand. Just makes more interesting lines being someone who doesn’t have field blowers or hex maniac
We went back and forth on limiting proxies but decided that we want to encourage players to be creative and build beyond what they own! This allows for better expression with different types between monthly tournaments and more "out of the box" decklists.
My locals doesnt allow proxies and it made me only play GLC online. I love to build decks, but buying so many cards for it to be done in a few weeks after getting a badge? As a new player to Pokemon it makes no sense.
Enjoyed your commentary a lot!! Very engaging and attention gathering lol. Hoping to see more in the future !
pls more
logging this on letterboxd & immediately rating 5 stars - this is one of the greatest works of cinéma i've ever seen
great video! excited to see more from you guys!
Love the commentary! Definitely eager to see more from you guys, I love watching any GLC videos I can get my hands on. Keep up the good work!
Instead of we, you should refer to the player, makes it a lot easier to follow. That's the only issue I can see, its a great video.
