Just finished this series today. This and the reunion scene on the next episode were what made me cry

The brain eating Zombie T-Rex would be cool to fight through.

This is one of the few scenes that has ever made me cry. I rarely cry when I watch animes or other forms of shows and movies. I feel genuine sadness from them when it's sad, but I almost never shed tears for them. But this scene... something about it just made me cry like an absolute baby. This anime is a masterpiece.

I still cry, its 2024...i really love this show.

You know what's amazing? Hoenheim is the living embodiment of the most powerful force in humanity: A living, breathing Philosopher's Stone. Yet, he was probably the most grateful, humble, emotional, and dare I say HUMAN character of the entire series. It's incredible how Ed is his total opposite: Extremely arrogant, full of himself, and never afraid to talk smack.

Hohenheim to his wife if he didn't die: I will endure an eternity of missing you for the privilege of loving you my beloved Trisha.

You could tell Pinako never expected to outlive Hohenheim, so that smile on her face as she recognizes what happens is her realization that he finally achieved everything he was able to do and finally pass on peacefully the way he'd wanted to.

This scene brings smile and tear both ❤

I remember crying so much. He was my favorite character, his whole story with father. The episode the dearf in the flask is still engrained in my memory. Similar to real life tales of alchemy and the human experimentation. So fascinating.

I can't help but wonder just what Hohenheim's gate would look like, given the life he lived.

I know I'm super late but this is the first anime death I genuinely cried over, Fullmetal Alchemist is a freaking masterpiece.

Yeah I hate hoenheim. But this is a bittersweet scene.

Brotherhood was an amazing show. And Hohenheim was a tragic npc. So tormented with survivors guilt. His speech to his dead wife was beautiful and heartbreaking. Damn my sweaty eyes😭

I would make that as some spoiler ending for the modern warfare series. One last soldier lives and dies as the last tf 141 member.
