Thank you for visiting my channel. This channel features a variety of videos that document things happening in my life. I have a 2012 Ford Mustang, and that car is the star of the show in many videos. I travel quite a bit for my job which gives me an opportunity to take video of interesting things and people. I have a lot of plans for this channel, I hope you will stay tuned.
2012 Ford Mustang Badge Emblem Modification and Restoration
I had the idea to modify the badge on my car when I got it back in May of 2021. I like the original, but I wanted something a little more subtle. You can buy covers online to make the bottom part of the badge black. They look pretty good, but I haven't seen any up close.
I also thought it would be cool to paint the inner rim the same color as my car, so I decided to paint it myself which was a much bigger project than I anticipated. Though, I did learn a lot about spray painting, and sanding, so much sanding.
I'll admit, I did go a little overboard with blacking out the pony and the stripes. I should have left that part alone. I liked it, but I could tell people weren't too crazy about it. I am happy with the black and blue pieces. They have been holding up really well. The clearcoat I used is amazing.
This video was shot with a DJI Osmo Action 4 camera. I didn't realize until after shooting that I had Wide Angle selected on the camera, so that's why it might have a little bit of fish eye sometimes. Why that is the default on cameras is a mystery.

This video was shot in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, ~ at 3:36 PM. My view of the eclipse was cloudy, but the clouds broke apart enough to see it sometimes. I was wondering how that came off! Was considering an aftermarket one. I may reconsider. I thought it was bolted on.
Yeah, the middle of the badge has a double sided adhesive seal that holds it on. The outer seal is just foam with no adhesive. I did some modifications to mine, and it's now using a bolt to mount it instead of adhesive. That way, I can put an original one back on if I ever decide to sell the car. Thanks! Yeah, I'm not sure how, but I see them a lot. One time, I had to pass by one that was pretty close, and I could feel the heat coming off of it. The second car fire in the video exploded right before I started recording.

I'm not sure what happened. There are two fires from different days in the video. I see them a lot; it's always a sight to see. Usually, the people who were in the car are standing away from it, down the road, with a cell phone. It just happens sometimes for various reasons. Hopefully, it won't happen to me...

Great video. Love the golf ball clip. Most old structures were supposedly built between 1850 to 1900. A time when it seemed no expense was spared. That’s a really cool park.
