Dolby Atmos on HomePod mini with Sound Test

HomePod mini does not support Dolby Atmos based on what Apple has confirmed. Nonetheless, you can play such songs on HomePod mini and it works (you might not get the best sound experience due to being mono and a not supported device with 5.1 surround sound or even stereo). Check apple.com for how to enable this feature and more info. Musics: "The Hills" by The Weeknd "Bad At Love" by Halsey #sp...

      Boombox is more powerful and the sound is more exciting but Aura has a more refined sound. For outdoor use and party go for Boombox; more rugged. For indoor listening and use go for Aura; better design and luxurious sound.

    • @Technoality
      @Technoality 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is not as vibrating and deep as speakers with passive radiator, but for a bookshelf speaker with 5.5' woofers, it's absolutely MASSIVE. Bare in mind that I mainly use it in my bedroom which is less than 15 square meters, but even when I tested it in hall, it was still punchy and huge. The overall sound is balanced, though for me, the bass is satisfying enough.

    How do you like the tweeter on nearfield use? Neutral or more sharp?

    • @Technoality
      @Technoality 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I like crystalline but warm tweeters. First when I heard it, I was looking for a more brittle high-range; now I find it quite balanced yet still a bit sparkling for some. After all, i'm having no fatigue and like the tolerably balanced sound.

    • @Technoality

      This is a passive speaker connected to an amp that supports bluetooth, I suggest your studio monitors are active, thus, as you've already said a receiver is needed and why not? it's possible to do so. Bear in mind you won't get the best audio quality through bluetooth.

      Agree with the crystalline sound, the bass is also remarkable indeed. However, although the sound might be flatter compared to the LG, it won’t be as flat compared to other more professional speakers. The bass is exaggerated and highs try to be crystalline too.

    Nice looking Setup, some quick tips: Lift them of the table for example with foam or Spikes to decouple them from the surface. Slightly angle them towards the ceiling, away from the table they are standing on, to minimize unwanted reflections. Even better would be stands left and right from the Desk that are high enough to almost reach ear level. E.G. from Definitive Technology. Trust me it would transform the sound hugely.

    • @Technoality
      @Technoality 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the tips! I was exactly looking for some pads like those under studio monitors to put underneath but I found some silicon spikes in the box designed to lift the speaker up just a bit so it's basically not directly touching the table. I will be keep looking for a decent foam though. For the stands part, I don't think it would work in this case because it puts the left speaker exactly facing the walls in the corner. I'm looking for a large isolation pad so not only it reaches the ears, but also minimizes unwanted reflections.

    Onyx 8 vs Aura 4. Which one has the superior sound quality? Thanks!

    • @Technoality
      @Technoality 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It should be the Aura; 6 drivers plus a sub-woofer compared to a woofer and two tweeters. It has 360 audio so it sounds good all over the room. However, you should place the Onyx for direct sound. I would say it depends on the room your are going to place it in; if it is a hall or a living room, no doubt go for the Aura; but if you plan to use it as a portable speaker too, you have no option but the Onyx.

      does it produce all single lil details of sound?? like jbl

    • @Technoality
      @Technoality 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AbhishekkDutta Well JBL has hundreds of speakers in various categories; If you mean something like Partybox, well me personally I don't really like the sound from those products and those are not designed to produce every little detail. If you really wanna go in depth with details, you should try some bookshelf and monitoring speakers which are of course at the most basic level stereo and designed to produce sound as it is. Of course this product produces details and I would say it is better than same tier speakers from JBL but as I said you should consider what level of speakers you are looking for.

      It depends on your usage If you want it as an elegant and great sounding speaker with crystal highs and shaking bass for your living room with size of less than 60 meters, I would say go for it But for desktop I’d rather pick a stereo system. For example my bedroom size is 20m and the bass was overwhelming, so the sweat spot I would a say is 50 meters living room

    • @_beres322_
      @_beres322_ หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think it is worth it, i have it in my room and the bass to highs are absolutely amazing. I had partybox 100 and it was to much bassy (it´s for party, so it is normal) and harman kardon is so good balanced. That highs are amazing like i said.

    • @Technoality
      @Technoality ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I did, and I strongly recommend NOT TO DO. It isn’t an option for users, only HK technicians should use it in case of any issue with speaker. Not sure about this but after adjusting and then reseting, I assume that the sound quality is just not the same as it was (not sure).

    • @priMa.Customs

    • @Technoality
      @Technoality 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@priMa.Customs I haven't read it because there is no such article or user manual on that. Whatever I said is based on my personal experience; as I said I am not sure but I just feel it should have been left on its default setting; if Harman wanted you to do that, they would have at least made it clear in the user instructions in the box like those on Citation 200. Well, if this is not an option and has never been scripted anywhere, who else would use it but Harman itself?
