Nice!!!I have an old Rage 158 too. 1995 model. Says patents applied for. lol Just put in a 4 ohm 20 watt Celestion speaker I ordered from Amazon. Mates well with my Orange Crush 20 now. With an Axe I/o I can run my 158 live coupled with an amp on Amplitube 5. I use the Orange as a cab for the amp modeler and run an amp out signal to my 158. I can then mic the 158 into recorder with amplitube 5 and record both amps at same time. Pretty wild!!!

Damn, Sulha really looks good from this angle. I have noticed that your driving skills in VR match my keyboard chaos almost perfectly (yeah, i drive on keyboard, i just never liked controllers). So i thought: is it possible to play a multiplayer battle, keyboard versus VR googles? You can probably see where this is trying to go if yes...

One thing this game lacks is motion blur.
@averycoolspider-pl it has motion blur. The game only "blur"s while boosting though, and the effect isn't super exaggerated.

@malakaithedemigod agreed. This is probably the best one to race so far. A lot of the others (especially BMoth and Conq) are so hard to see out of.

I could see someone doing this pretty well but probably using the steering console they use for the starships in Star Citizen or something similar
It's way harder with the flight sticks. Maybe I'm biased though, but flying around in Star Citizen feels a lot easier than this game where you're forced to a track with all these insane curves.

@almightywolf714 I advise you turn all the assists off and fail until you don't. That's how you git gud! Also, maybe practice going around the tracks at slow speed so you can learn where everything is. Like with anything, you'll have to practice.
@DeathMetalSeth yea but I keep hitting the walls and flying off the track. Well sometimes.
@@almightywolf714 slow down and keep practicing. Try maxing Stability, Steer, and Strafe, then adding speed after you've learned to better control the vehicle.

@baaloudjmalik SMOOTH: I recorded the gameplay at the full resolution, and at 60FPS, and at the highest bitrate I could use. CINEMATIC: Using DaVinci Resolve, I added some film grain effect and tweaked the colors a bit. I also added different music.
I tried WipEout in PSVR and I loved it! This looks like a blast to me
@treschlet haven't tried in that game, but I've seen videos. It looks pretty jarring, the Redout 2 UEVR may be pretty close. Try it if you're able to.
This makes me feel weird even when watching on mobile. Also, this is the first time i saw yiu piloting a different ship than WRG. And by the way, what does the Singularity hazard actually do?
@@averycoolspider-pl I've got a few videos driving different vehicles, I just main the WRG. Anyway, the singularity constantly pulls your ship to it, even while on the track.

if ima be honest if some actual time was set aside to truly implement a good/great VR implementation to this game it could create a brand new VR market alone
@saunshilu I agree. They could do like a whole flight sim controller compatibility too, like how you'd fly in Star Citizen, that'd be totally worth the puke, training your mind and body to play!.. ~not sarcasm.

@@averycoolspider-pl I hear you. Gotta say though, IT IS HARD! These 2D videos really can't do this experience justice; I feel like the only reason I did as well as in the video is due to my memory of the track and imagining where/when my inputs should be. Were this a real sport, I don't think we'd be ready for it, unless you fly jets for a living and race F1 for fun. All the super aggressive turns, dips, mounds, and flying, are very taxing.
@DeathMetalSeth And then, there comes the risk of melting yourself down on Io, drowning in the Mariana Trench, flying away in Cloud Ocean, crashing into a red rock on Mars or getting disintegrated in a Black Hole.

Yea i think it could be possible, and man, if they did some tweaks with the var camera angle and maybe slight vignette highlights if your near a wall on whatever side to let you know you need to turn more, and reduce some of the jitters of the camera in vr view, this would be a great experience! And maybe a small third person view in the huddle to assist us maybe that isn’t too intrusive.
While you're in VR, the jitters don't exist. The biggest issue I see is the horrible visibility of the small cockpits. Part of the inside isn't even rendered, so you would definitely have even less visibility IRL. The second biggest thing is human comprehension and reaction time. The game is FAST FAST with stereo view and feels very overwhelming. I think you could get good at it, but it'd take a lot of time in the simulator first. I did try messing with the HUD too, I couldn't find a place where I liked it with the Wallace. If I could change the opacity, I'd probably put it closer to the middle of the screen.
@ I think about f1 racers, they push the limit. But yea I think if being a redout pilot could work, the cockpit should have a built in system that shows you real time view of the track outside of the pit. Like a camera on top of the ship so it would look like third person kinda
@@DeathMetalSeth theyd likely need to make special models for vr only, if i recall in BNG they had a 360 degree cockpit view done via cameras, likely the best thing they could replicate along with proper view point scaling as im sure the ships are massive compared to a person so having the same camera scale for 3rd person doesnt quite help
@@saunshilu the UEVR mod will let you scale the world as you see fit. I believe the "default" is pretty believable though, just like the ships you can see in the pit for each track. These videos really can't do VR justice.

The active pickups and AI Catch-Up certainly made the races much tenser throughout. Despite my usual opinion of blue shells, it was kinda fun seeing for how long they could be held off or tricked! Also big fan of the way you passed through tunnels and bounced between surfaces, and how the camera sometimes struggled to keep up x> The big jump out the glacier cave at 7:15 especially had me curious how it would land, the long air time sure was interesting :> First race might be my fav for this video, the more enclosed tunnels, caves and canyons helped emphasize the feeling of speed a lot ^v^ Goes to show how much thought goes into track design :o
