I was being rushed on the last job I worked on and could not get this jig working for me. Usually tools like this go right to the trash but, this one didn't. I'm going to revisit it since I just installed more cabinets. Which I wasn't qualified to do
What size drill bit did you use?
@@BillRocco I believe the pipes were 3/4 inch so I must have used a 7/8 inch forstner bit
@@jtswoodworking4857 thanks
religion is a death cult. please dont spread your cancer.
Thanks so much
You're welcome!
Also, what mandrel do you use? Thank you!🙏
It’s their pen mandrel. Should be easy to find on their website!
Where do you get your ring cores? Thanks
Craft Supply USA. I think it’s woodturnerscatalog.com
It was your first show/outing. . It takes time to develop a sales strategy. And by the look of it you have some excellent products. Be positive and keep forging ahead. At some point you will start getting commission orders. All the best mate.
Exactly the kind of video i was searching for!
thanks mate
Thank you for sharing your experience! Hope you continued on to make more sales in later fairs!
Great video, I'm going to try this five cut method. Thank you for posting.
Ouch
Crat fair is good to wood workers and pick up my dear offer Jayson Caldwell and program to my is Heather pandas i do want pancakes
Keep doing good things! Don’t let a low sales day bum you. Fall down 9 times, stand up 10 times.
Awesome! Just starting making flags, I have to try this!
Yikes man I’m glad you are ok now… did you have any lasting nerve issues in your hand?
I did not hit any nerves thankfully!
I’ve always been afraid of this.
Beautiful finish
Carving the stars gives a much better look
An easy way to get the centre of any rectangle (without arithmetic) is to draw and X by placing your straight edge from top-left corner to bottom-right, draw a line (roughly in the middle, does not have to be full length) and repeat again from top-right to bottom-left. The centre is the point where both lines intersect. You can also find the centre of a circle by basic geometry (using Thales theorem): if you have a right angle in a [virtual] triangle and the vertex of the right angle lies on a circle's circumference, then the line segment joining the other two vertices of the triangle must be a diameter of the circle. Basically if you place the inner corner of a [framing or carpenters] square on any point on the circumference then the two points where the square intersects with the circle circumference mark the extents of the diameter (a circle has infinity many diameters, lines though the centre enclosed by the circumference, but in practice people often just say 'the diameter' implying that there is only one instead of 'a diameter' even though the latter is less likely to aggrieve your friendly neighbourhood maths nerd).
thanks for the safety tip. I just got my first bandsaw and haven't made my first cut yet, your video is very very helpful. Thanks for sharing.
Jesus you got that deep
Dude, you showed up on my shorts feed. Lol, awesome
No way!
Thanks for making this easy to understand.
Glad it was helpful!
Good video! Your process seems very effective, thanks for sharing.
Yep. I get laughed off all the time on FB reels when I try to tell these idiots they are risking harm to themselves.
How has the online payment workinv for you, I was wanting to sell online but did not know how easy online money sales would be.
It’s been a struggle
love the excitement, but man.... you have alot to learn.
I agree
Very well explained. Thank you
When are you posting the accident you had with the band saw?
Already did!
@@jtswoodworking4857 Holy God!!!! Hope you healed ok and there was no nerve damage. That was tough to look at
I did that too.
you did one thing wrong. You didn't use enough clamps on the 3 pieces of plywood you glued up. 25 clamps is just not enough! Needed at least 40.
Did your client happen to be Eddie Hall or Brian Shaw? I noticed a piece that looked exactly like this in the background of some of their videos. If so thats super epic!
❤thanks
First time doing woodchop I did well for a couple of weeks then I went to cutting in a motion where it slipped and sliced a part of my finger and nail but I still got all my finger next time I'm using extra wood to push it in when I'm doing angles
You have all the support my friend 💯💯🔔🔔👍👍
Bless..
😯
I used Woodglut instructions for this and I already did it :)
Very cool!
next time use laser cut stars and using the silicon star template to place the stars
If you seal the stencil with a clear coat, there should be no bleed
Gorgeous!
Thanks for sharing... Glad it wasn't worse. Thumbs Up !!
Thanks! I’m glad it wasn’t worse either!
I cannot believe how easy you explained this. Had to subscribe. You are awesome sir! Thank you.
Thank you very much!
WAIT!!!! Shit wth! Ok... I'm ready 🤓🍿
That is nice music you have underlined the video with, of course that is entirely subjective, but I rarely ever find a video where I don't find the musical accompaniment irritating and rather would have none.
Karma..
wtf
Thank you! I'm installing a ridiculous amount of cabinet knobs & the official site wasn't as helpful showing the measurement marks. I feel a little more empowered after watching.
You’re welcome!
